Non Vanilla

on my profile(when i show it) and when i chat to people i say i like non vanilla sex. many just reply 'me too'. when i ask them what aspect they like they fall silent, say they like chocolate or say im a white guy not black. i even got told yesterday that id made the word up. my question to you is do you or do you find others dont know this term?

that is vanilla yes. non vanilla is anything beyond the norm. this differs from person to person. some peoples kinky is another persons norm. i find its opens conversations and lets people be more open minded and able to express their needs

Vanilla equals conventional for us.

We use it quite a lot on fab, vanilla weekends are those we spend with family and friends doing normal things.

It's a great adjective!

They may fall silent because they daren't tell you what they are into. You may be missing out on some fantastically kinky people. It can mean anything and everything...

If you don't give them a clue they might think you just like sex with the lights on. And not tell you about all the things they are into in case it puts you off.

How non vanilla is non vanilla? Sometimes if you want to reveal a particular kink, the other person may think crikey that is tame.

Suggest the same thing to someone else and they go running to the hills!

It can make you reticent about revealing something you both may enjoy!

To me vanilla is socially accepted norm, anything else is non-vanilla. So the dirty, energetic, enthusiastic and lust filled sex I like would be non vanilla
