Just a couple I have taken up....turned down or put on hold a few more as I have a life outside of fab...but tbh that involves an ex fab member with a caravan for weekends and who lives close by for other times....if that counts as direct fab stuff...then probably at least a dozen in the last month?

Rarely do they moan in the forums, need to ask advice, bemoan their peers or question why they're not getting the 'results' they desire.

The common denominator amongst them is a complete lack of any sense of entitlement or expectancy.

it is a long time since I had a meet from this site, I remain on it because I enjoy the banter in the forums.

When I was meeting, I never struggled and that was nothing more than using my personality in the chat rooms, going to socials in Scotland and attending a club. I put myself out there and then reputation takes over and you get invites. I have never sent a proactive message on this site. I also accommodated in my home and that is something I would never, ever do again.

On the reverse of that, once you become successful in the Swinging World, jealously can creep in from others who deem you to be having too much fun, up yourself etc... you just have to ignore that bullshit and continue enjoying yourself.

I have been lucky to have met quite a few from here. I was lucky because I got verified by a couple I know who I found on here by mistake.

I then met PappillonNoir on an early social, impressed, had a second meet and impressed again. She has helped my education massively and is looking to do so even more.

However, it helps that I actually like and respect women, have a laugh and banter, and an inquisitive nature with partners.

We set our standards quite high but if you want a seat by the band then you must make the effort dear boy.

I've been on and off here for about 4 years and have had zero meets from here. Most of my messages were deleted with no response, even tho i have tried lots of different angles. I do read the profile and put something in that is relevant to that person. 95% of times i don't get a response. So i don't bother any more.

I get more luck when i go to clubs and have started using the forum as well.

I'd like a happy medium where there is more than 0 messages in my inbox, but less than the hundreds of really shit ones women get. But it isn't going to happen. However, I'm a believer in being yourself & by doing so, some will eventually be interested.

I do know how hard it is for guys as I have spoken to many and also seen for myself. That's why I do sympathise with (some) single guys.

Anything I wanted to say in the grander scheme of things has been said by others (as always Fabio, you're on point).

To answer the original question, 1 meet in August and if not for logistics, and other factors on either side, that number would have been 4. That's little, skinny old me (a fact I haven't lied about on my stats, lol) with the quirky/odd sense of humour who hasn't seen a swinging club since I came back to the site (something I've started to work on). I mention that because what I've had on here lends itself to the idea that engaging with people on a personality/social level is important and is desirable.

I sigh when I see people (usually fellow single men) raise the point about not having success and nearly always, the phrase or sentiment 'this is a sex site' emerges. I've already said more than I intended, but there is a distinction between a sex site (of which virtually none exist) and a swinging site. Basically, there has to be interest before anything occurs. Simply wanting to meet someone to have sex isn't enough.

Are you what they want, looks and personality-wise (and vice versa)? Do you have a positive message? Do you make them laugh? Can you accommodate? Or prepared to travel a possible distance?

Are you actually interested in the person/people you are contacting?

If the answer to to any (or many) of the above, then the simple want of sex will most likely not prevail.

I dunno what some single guys are doing wrong..but then, there are many couples etc doing it wrong too.

If you want to distance yourselves from the thousands of others who complain about getting no meets..a simple excercise is looking at what type of meet they are looking for, and what type of meet they havent tried.

my advice as always, if you are struggling online: get to some kind of gathering, club,social.

its a start no/

unfortunately over the several years I've been on the site, the same question comes up...and on most counts...they never accept the answers given...then continue to moan...then it becomes other peoples faults.
