One for the Ladies -

How/when did you broach the subject of swinging with your husband/partner/boyfriend? What was the reaction and if negative why/when did he change his mind?

Was swinging the result of an affair either his or yours (I'm sure anyone who thinks this bit to personal will not answer wanting to keep it private).

Sorry if this seems several questions in one but first post so not got the hang of it yet!

Not sure why you are asking for ladies only?

Personally I don't think I've ever known of or met anyone that started swinging after an affair. Infidelity is unlikely to prompt many people to want to include others in their sex lives.

Yes men can reply to; it's just that I think women do tend to control what sexual activities take place but try and let men think it was their own idea.

The affair part is only because I'm curious as many years ago I dumped a girlfriend as soon as she told me she'd slept with a male colleague the night before. Got a really nasty letter later as she was mad I dumped her. Why tell me the evening after, not a couple of days before on a 'this is something I must do basis'? I don't know what I'd have said but at least I'd have had a choice.

Many years later I regret not taking the opportunity to suggest opening the relationship up as I was very fond of her as she was of me. Hope this makes sense.
