face pics

I have an idea. When anyone requests a face pic, they should only be alowed to see it if they send in return. The amount of times i have sent one with the promise of one in return, and they refuse, is ridiculess. I think it would be a good idea to make this so, and eliminate a lot of fakes and timewasters. Whats your views ?

Some people don't have face pics on here preferring to send by txt/e-mail instead.

Forgot to add, if they don't send one in return, they're probably not interested so no point sending one I guess.

Common sense should tell you that peeps might see your/my/the dogs/whatever's face piccy and think. No thanks not for us and then what is the point of sending a face picture back if you are never going to meet anyway. Surely you'd be saying next they are time wasters. No i'm afraid you just have to take it on the chin and move on.

I'm new on here, but I have partial face pics in my private gallery. As I see it, if someone wants to see them they can add me and look (can always delete me again). If as 'friends' i still don't have any idea of what they look like and they don't want to show me, then I can delete them without feeling too 'exposed'. If they're happy for me to have some idea what they look like and then we message a bit more and they seem sane enough, we can talk about swapping full face pics.

I'm a bit 'discretion paranoid' after i was once secretly filmed with money demanded for it's deletion, so maybe I'm too cautious lol

I am sayin if anyone requests face pic, the should only recieve it if they reciprocate. I dont send with 1st message, why should i. The amount of times we are contacted and asked for pic, with the promise of one returned, and they dont, is unreal. I think it would be a good idea to integrate that function into the site.

Like I mentioned earlier, not everyone has face pics on here, its not compulsory to have them. I've spoken to a few guys who didn't and prefer to send them my text or e-mail. Not for me but its their choice to run their profile how they wish so for these members, it wouldn't work.

If it's happened so many times OP the only person you can blame is yourself for continuing to bow to demands for pictures. If we message someone for the first time, will include a picture.

If we get a message and there's none attached then we'll ask for one. If one isn't forthcoming then we send nothing.

It's your profile fella, no one can make you send a picture, people can request if you want to send it that's your choice

as a single guy you might feel you need to send first as you re One of many I d suggest if you have sparked the other persons interest enough to message you first they ll be interested enough to send their picture,

I don't really see the issue? If you've sent one and there hasn't been one returned, why would you worry about it? Why would you not just move on to someone else?

I would imagine that if you have sent them a face pic and they then don't send one in return it is because they don't wish to meet you !

So I automatically should send a face picture even if I am not interested? Eh, no.

If someone attracts my interest, and it gets to the stage of being more than a few messages, and their is mutual interest then I will exchange a face pic.

I live in a small village, in quite a reserved area, and as a single female need to be aware of safety - I've already had a horrific experience where someone exchanged face pics, and the proceeded to message me telling me my location, what I was wearing, who I was with - over a few different days. Made me feel very nervous, and from there I am now even more cautious about pics and chat.

Surely it's more of a risk to send a picture via text as you're giving your number out? Personally we think all should have at least a couple of public pictures (most have access to some form of editing to disguise face, tattoos etc) that way it's quite quick to decide if you want to expand and continue talking with someone else. X
