I prefer to go looking and send the first mail to people that interest me. I explain that my profile is bare because I prefer to go looking. I send some info about me in the first mail and if they reply and are interested I send pics.

What would you think if someone mailed you in this way?

depends on the content of the message. I get a few one liners from couples that don't have any profile info or pics

probably single guys....

But if the message is tailored, articulate. Gives full sexual history, economic status and education attainment level, I will read it and reply later..

I do not under any circumstances, pounce on a message sent to me first like a rare ruby, save it and read it before bedtime to raise my self esteem...... er

So long as you send a mail that explains what you are after then I wouldn't think anyone would have a problem - what I object to is the people who demand face pics with the fist message yet have none on their profile themselves so as long as you don't expect that no problem x

It is very unusual for a bloke to receive a message like that I imagine. I've had quite a few first messages off women since I've been on the forum. Admittedly not with an empty profile. However they have always been short expressing interest in something I've posted or telling me I make them laugh.

Most of my friends have come this way. However a tailored message from a woman would be a significant turn on in my books

I've been contacted by both couples and singles and replied and it's been quite worthwhile replying. A few weeks ago a couple winked at me, I looked at their profile and though it was fairly bare, liked the body descriptions, their ages and interests. I sent them a mail saying I was interested in finding out more about them if they were interested in me, (my profile does give a lot of information about me). They replied and if a couple more mails we spoke on the phone a few times. Last Saturday they came over to my place for a nice getting to know you chat. After a hour or so we started to play and then moved into the bedroom where we had full fun. We're going to meet up again and this time we won't need as much 'getting to know you chat.'

There's a lot of profiles on here written by females (especially in the couples profiles) and they tend to spend most of their time writing all the negative aspects of things they don't want or allow...they have more rules than the ten commandments....would so much prefer to read positive things...anytime you wish to message just go ahead and good luck to you...be good be happy and be safe..

Why mind, I'd look at the mail and take from there? I've met some really nice people who've mailed me without tons of info on their profile. I and they have obviously found out more the actual meet but surely this site is often about meeting new people?
