Topless women drivers

Have never actually figured out why its ok for guys to drive topless, yet a woman can be arrested for this !!....

Any clues as to why anyone ?? and, more to the point, is it actually illegal for a women to be topless in a car ( and i dont mean an open top car! ) ..lol

Technically, there is no law against being nude in public in the United Kingdom. Simple nudity is not illegal. However,using nudity to "harass, alarm or distress" others is an offence against the Public Order Act of 1986.

In England and Wales the offence of "indecent exposure" and other sexual offences were replaced by the more specific and explicit Sexual Offences Act 2003. The Act does not mention nudity as such and is worded so as not to apply to skinny dipping, nude sunbathing, and similar activities. It applies only to aggressive genital exposure with intent to shock those who want not to see the genitals. The maximum penalty is two years' imprisonment.[4]

The situation in Northern Ireland is complex as some parts of this Act apply but others do not and the Assembly is considering new legislation. In Scotland, a Bill with more repressive wording is currently proposed [mid 2008].

In Barcelona, public nudity is a recognised right. Working with the associations Addan (which defends the right to nudity) and Aleteia, the Barcelona Council published the "Tríptic de Barcelona", which codifies the right.[5] In the Netherlands, public nudity is allowed at sites that have been assigned by the local authorities and "other suitable places",[6] which effectively means that any complaint will cause one to be arrested under the reasoning that the complaint itself is an indication that the place is not "suitable".[citation needed]

I followed A guy driving a tipper in the motoway today and thought exactly the same thing.. It's ok for him to do it but if I did all he'll would break loose and wobble too lol..

well i,m a truck driver and though i see plenty of ladies in short skirts espevially in this weather topless ladies are very rare...any girls want to flash us horny truckers then please do...lol.and dont forget to flash your lights as you pass..i for one always flash my head lights back....i love it...

just a little note..some of them arent pretty in white and yellow but a naughty civilcars..and dotn wear uniforms..learnt that hard way

it'nt it supposed to be the nipples women arnt allowed to show? on the front cover of such mags as zoo etc they only have their nipples covered cause the breast part is ok to show, if that is the case why, when men only have nipples, is it ok for them to walk round topless?

Must admit i just dont get it either

We drove home from a night out in exeter recently, and subsequent "play" at a local spot on the way home, and mrs had her top down all the way home......

She loved it!! felt naughty, but also exciting to see if anyone noticed..

well theres nothing better that getting a flash of stocking top or a nice cleavage to make the job worthwhile...lol..i have even got to meet a few couples through flashing ..i had a great looking lady in my sleeepr cab in a layby nr a swingers club off the A5(liberty elite)while her hubby watched..they had been to the club and wow was she horny..mind you these meets are few and far between but so horny because of thet i suppose..keep up the good work ladies..

As far as driving is concerned it can only be because of the potential for distraction. Although I would've thought women would find the potential for nipple chafing to be enough to deter them

I remember a BMW i used to own with blackened windows. You could have gotten away with doing anything in that, and i did. But you could have easily driven topless. I am not sure how legal it is these days to have your front windows blacked out.

got away with it last week when I drove from Stoke on Trent to Stafford in my convertible with the roof down and two very attractive girls flashing everything to the people in coaches.
