Fake profiles

Has any one else had enough of fakes on here? Usually men pretending to be women for whatever reason or maybe there's other reasons people chose to make fake profiles but it is spoiling it for the genuine people on here.

I have just ousted another faker by checking their photos with a website which finds matches of the photo on other sites, this one photo was on 75 different other sites!!

Could admin be more careful before accepting the photos members try to download? Will it make much difference? Thoughts please

Fakes are easy enough to spot and you did the right thing by reporting the profile.

With 10,000,000,000 pics being uploaded hourly, give or take, it would take forever for Admin to check pics out.

Just because people have photos on other sites.

Does not make them fake.

Plenty folks steal images and use them as there own. It's not the original posters fault.

We have spoken with several folks who's pics come on other sites.

Sometimes you think! Hey I've seen that pic before.

It's amazing the amount of folks on adult work that are on here

Site is called tineye. It is great for finding out if the profile is fake or not.

i think what he means is a lot of profiles on here have pics just taken from possibly porn sites. please correct me if i'm wrong! so in that respect, i don't see the point in making a profile with them kind of pictures on it.

Photos that show up on other swinging sites isn't really an issue

But showing up on world wide porn sites or gay sites with their names and twitter accounts available for fans is a big indicator of pic lifting

Yes I agree but when you find that the pictures and photos come back the results are from porn sites and not amateur sites then it's pretty obvious that either person who created the profile is posting pictures that are not them but ones they have found on a website. Tineye does not find results from private sites like this one or adult work but from sites that are easily accessible by everyone on the internet

Exactly! And there are a lot on here, unfortunately most don't get found out

If fakes are easily spottable - how are they 'spoiling it for genuine people'?

I'm not saying there aren't fakes on here but the vast majority of profiles are genuine. And common sense combined with enough cynicism to recognise that if something looks to good to be true then it probably is is generally enough to spot them.

If they're not photo verified and ask to see pictures of me I think they could be a fake until they prove otherwise

Ok so if the results show that the photos are from a professional porn website and the photo has been uploaded onto a profile on here, I think that means the profile is a fake?

I understand people upload their photos onto other sites I'm not talking about that, I'm saying when the results come back and the ORIGINAL pics are on porn sites, I think we can safely assume that the profile is not all that it seems??

and the ORIGINAL pics are on porn sites, unless you're a porn star.lol.

Tineye can be useful but it's hardly a definitive source of spotting fakes. If pictures being on another site makes people fake then I am clearly fake. As are all the who's pctures were stolen and ended up on Tumblr.

I use google reverse if I think a pic is too good to be true and alarm bells are ringing about a person or their profile

The majority have had their pics removed or they have left the site comoletely once ive reported them so admin do a good job in trying to control fake pictures that have slipped through

Kinda scary how many genuine people have their photographs stolen

Tineye not the best but it does help find SOME fakers

In realty it's a waste of time.

If some wishes to steal your pics.

They will !

It's part and parcel of the internet!

At no point are we saying upload all we are saying is go fuck yourself!

We love each other we enjoy what we do! You don't get it? Your fault not ours

I haven't found any of my photos on other profiles yet but am not sure that Tineye or reverse Google can see inside Fab accounts in any case.

I did however find sections of my profile text had been directly lifted which was a bit odd.
