THIS GAME WE PLAY IS SUPPOSE TO BE FUN AND LIGHT HEARTED, ISNT IT !

SO WHY DO SOME COUPLES FIND REJECTION SO HARD TO TAKE, SINGLE GUYS GET REJECTED ALL THE TIME EVERY DAY MANY TIMES AND WE FIND THEY HARDLEY EVER MAKE A SONG AND DANCE ABOUT IT,BUT SOME COUPLES, YOU TURN THEM DOWN IN A NICE POLITE WAY ONLY TO GET EITHER SOME SILLY REMARK THROWN BACK AT YOU OR YOU GET BAD MOUTHED TO OTHERS.

NOW IT HASNT HAPPENED TO MANY TIMES BUT WE DO FIND THAT COUPLES WHO MEET LETS SAY ON A MORE REGULAR BASIS THAN OTHERS TEND TO BE THE ONES WHO HAVE THESE ISSUES. ITS ALMOST AS IF THERE SHOCKED THAT WE SAY 'NO THANKS' TO THEM.

OK RANT OVER LOL.

As you say in your first sentance, this is meant to be fun and lighthearted

Sadly your post doesn't come across that way

it's just human nature. No one likes rejection, and people take it in different ways.

We have had the same experience as you too, but also we have been dissappointed when we have been told, "no thankyou"

actually... have to agree with rugby on this....

honestly.. can I just suggest letting all the anger go!!! you'll only end up giving yourself some type of ulcer.....(oh.. and leaning on the caps lock button doesn't help either)

Ooh now this is something that happens to me often..... only yesterday I received a barrage of abuse and insults from a man I turned down.... I was really polite too.........

There really is no need... so from now on if I don't find a man attractive i'm not even going to bother to reply..... its quite disturbing how personal and insutling some men get.

maybe because they play so often they are not used to being turned down and dare i say not to fussy about who they meet so when they do get turned away they are shocked. Or maybe they just think they are gods gift and no one in their righ mind would turn them down ..belive me we have met a few ourselves

It is par for the course I'm afraid.

I believe some people think because this is an adult site whoever they tip their hat at will meet them with wild abandon. The realisation that people do have preferences and they're not the gift from God they thought does prick the egos of many.

Personally I wouldn't expend energy worrying about this: plenty of fun people to contend with.

Enjoy!

If only we were all nice to each other, it would be great and I bet there would be much more meets, I guess due to less tension or expectations or whatever.

But, yes, a polite no thanks for whatever reason, shouldn't result in nasty emails.

"yea, whats with all the caps?? thats classed as shouting ont net"

we can shout in real life .............

why do some people think you cant shout on the net ?

is it like swearing in church , farting at a vicars tea party , picking your nose while serving at the delicatessen counter ?

if i said my wife dropped a brick on my foot and i said BLOODY HELL THAT HURT

do you feel outraged ? does it spoil your day ? does it make you start to loose faith in humanity ?

yet again the double standards in forum never cease to amaze me.

if a single guy had posted this he would have been 'tarred and feathered' by everyone, instead of of tea and sympathy being offered to another poor couple that have been offended.

anyone wish to disagree

If you look back at some of the single guy threads there has been a lot of support recently

Now stop making this thread about you and get on with perving

Not you personally but about single males

No-one has mentioned single males at all and yet 2 of you have come in with a moan when the thread was about couples

Now im always defending the guys but sometimes you don't help yourselves by courting controversy

I think you have lost the point in how people react. Its not if someone is single or in a couple that rules how they react but more the personality of the individual. Some couples kick off some singles kick off but its usually down to an individual who sulks, throws tantrums and isn't very adult in how they interact with people.

As in normal life, some people are considerate, and some are plain rude.

For ourselves, we always try to say "no" kindly, and so far haven't had any nasty remarks, and if we,re turned down, we acknowledge the rejection with thanks, and move on. We would hate anyone to be shagging us out of sympathy or coercion.

Its all part of lifes rich tapestry: Some hurl abuse when turned down, some want to post in caps, others want to reply to the abuse (despite having said no and are then upset that they didn't get the last word in). Then there are a few that just get on with having fun and don't rise to the bait.

Funny old world

^^^ Typo in last version

That's their choice to block single males though! Just because others look at your profile it doesn't mean they want you to try and mail them, they looked out of curiousity, boredom, nosiness, whatever!

How is it so hard for folk to understand that people are entitled to have their own choices, do what they want, etc, etc, etc?
