Hello all,

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this.

I have been in contact with a woman, over last few days

She only just joined the site with out any photos.No problem as she said she would upload some, while i was waiting for her photos to be uploaded, small talked about things we done places we been, she said she never been out the country.. not all of us have lol...(in the back of my mind something didn't sit rite bout this woman)

Yesterday she posted some photos ..... said she tock then yesterday...

MMMMMMMM the woman in the photo was kind-off hot.. but then i looked closer and having lived in Canada for 3 years, I noticed the electric power points in her photos, for someone thats never lived or traveled outside of the UK, there is an electric power point not used in the UK, but for sure in America and canada..

Now is it fair for me to think that its a FAKE profile ???

I commented on the photos and asked her where were they taken she said in the UK..

Do i expose this person for posting someone else photos ?? The profile has not been verification, nor any photos been photo-verified by the site..

What do others think ???

I have it on good authority that there are false profiles on here and people upload pics from the internet and use them, totally despicable really, but what can you do??

However...I would still meet her and give her one!!

Is that really you on the Mag?

You've been had Mark! Report the profile to the site mods giving the reasons you have stated. They will remove that profile and hopefully ban that I.P. address.

to tell you the truth we think its fake we are sick of people using this great site that are fake we get alot of single couples who say they are a couple turns out they are boody fake just a single guy saying hes a couple while he isnt not fair for the real single guys on here wish fabs would do something about it

If they are good looking and on this site, then yes, it's a fake....

Joke, if you can't take it don't bend over...

This is why you must chat with all who you would like to meet and play, saves a lot of time. Watch out for people asking for photos in the first email etc. Use the cam to verify. I don't like to play on cam, but chat and see them, again saves so much time and effort.

i always look for stuff out of the ordinary ,, electric sockets are a dead giveaway ,,, deffo a fake

Hey there

When we first joined, we got chatting to a couple (or so they said), and ended up webcamming with them, well we got naked and did the business, and they're webcam wouldnt work!!!!! We were a bit naive, and didnt realise there is so many fakers. When we went to find them the following day, the profile was gone and low and behold, the pictures they'd used were on another new profile.

a profile is just that ............ a profile

unless we see a person on web cam they are of no interest

it is too easy to use photos aquired of the internet , or use ones taken 10 years back

you could also verify your own profile by opening a second or third account

there is no excuse for not going on web cam , if a person is concerned about discretion then point the cam below you face

they now cost less than a packet of ciggarettes

even if a person is genuine never forget they might put on there profile they enjoy walking on the beach in the moonlight , but fail to mention they eat human flesh

I never meet anyone without seeing them on web cam first, if they don't have a web cam i don't meet them, that way they can post as many fake pics as they like unless i've seen them on cam theres no meet lol

to be honest if i had spotted something like power point i know damn well they don't use in this country i'd have just said to her there and then i think your pics are fake and told her why, no point pissing about, if shes sending fake pics shes not going to meet you anyway so why tread on egg shells?

Thank you all for posting your views and comments, they all have been very interesting to read, I never expected this amount of responses in such a short time, a big thanks all.

Like many of you, I also had the gut feeling but i wanted to explore and suss out the more.

I have taken the steps in regard to the profile.

most fake people can be spotted a mile away , but i must admit they pee me of and irritate me intensely

i have a photo that i send them that i would be welcome to pass on ( will try add it to profile here )

as we have english sockets in our spanish home we will have to be carefull where pointing the camera

Fake profiles appear at almost every site I'm a member of - I always take a good look at photos to see if there are giveaways....

Plug sockets are certainly the most tell-tale signs, followed by phones and light switches - there are other clues too, such as radiator and window designs, and foreign language book, magazine and video titles....

I've been led up garden paths a number of times in the past, and probably will be again - but like to think I'm better now at spotting the fakes and wannabees....

Fakers just mess it up for the genuine posters, It is hard (sic.) enough to get to meet people as a single male without all the pillocks faking their profiles.

I thought when the system got revamped and we all had to post a pic to the admin with our name on a piece of paper elimated fake pic posters though?

I just wish the time wasters would make up a website called timewasters.com and they can waste each others time till their heart's content and let us concentrate on meeting genuine like minded people!
