How far would you go on a chance

I know single guys will do more 'hunting' & travel if there's a chance of sex but seriously.

I've been asked to go up to Dundee a journey of more than 200m 1 way.

No way!!!

How far would people travel in general?

If it's for a night out I'd go to a nice town & make a weekend of it sure but for a simple meet I think over 20-30m would be getting too far out.

BOLDON COLLIERY

was on the way to a party in blackpool one weekend and was asked to give a lady a lift so traveled from newcastle to blackpool via liverpool, had only spoken to the lady in the chat rooms, a year later she moved in we have been together for 3 years now

We would consider travelling a greater distance for a potential meet, if we'd exchanged lots if messages and felt that we'd almost certainly get on in person.

If we were travelling any real distance, we'd maybe make a day/weekend of it. We would also hedge our bets a bit by making alternative plans for if we didn't click... like nearby clubs.

I travel all over the place. Just because i can. I usually meet for a night or two anyway but i love visiting other towns and cities. It's a mini adventure for me.

The problem with long distance meets is the expectation to play. On first meets i think there should be no expectation. How many would travel 200 miles for a coffee meet? You have to be realistic cos even if someone had come from Australia and I didn't fancy them it aint gonna happen.

I've travelled all over the country before and enjoyed every minute of it, although I'd be more likely to ensure it was somewhere where a club was handy these days.

Living up here you have to make the effort. ..have driven 230 miles for a meet ...was it worth it ? Yup definitely ...

We will see people we have met before 150 miles away without a problem a first time meet well we would be happy to do a social half way or meet at a club. Distance isn't a problem to meet the right people but we also like a weekend away in a nice hotel so its never a big problem traveling.

I won't travel anymore than half an hour in the car and I don't arrange first socials with anyone who would have to travel more than that to meet me...after that, if we arrange a play meet then I'm happier to go a bit further or to accommodate... I travel lots for club meets and big socials too

A guy regularly comes to our (vanilla) Christmas party from California.

People come to our sexy parties from Cambridge, London, Taunton...

We once went on a date to Skegness - and a very hot date it was too.

We've been to meet a German couple in Paris, a couple of times. Then got invited to a private party in Rouen, on the way back.
