They don't stop bleeding, they're just like tampons and absorb the flow while they're in but aren't noticeable to anyone penetrative you

I'd suggest not meeting when you're having a period, taking medication to stop a period is great for holidays etc but I wouldn't take them a lot as you'd end up not knowing when they'll happen. Z

I imagine that a large cock would be able to feel the sponge and I'd be careful because it may push it up beyond the point where you can retrieve it with your fingers, then it's a bugger to get out...oral was fine but I wasn't massively confident about it, more a psychological thing but not swinging for a few days while you're on your period isn't such a great hardship is it?

You can get the Depo Provera injection which for a lot of people stops their periods altogether. Or there are pills, such as Lybrel which are designed to be taken continuously and will stop your periods.

Opt for the wet ones as they are easier to use.

I have tried both...

Norithesterone made me a psycho... It's a high dose of hormones and really can screw with your system afterwards. Great for a one off, but not for regular use.

I tried beppy tampons for the first time last night...

Brilliant! I do not have a heavy flow, so don't know how absorbant (people have said on v heavy days theyre good for 2-3 hours)

Once in place, my OH couldn't feel it in missionary, I imagine if we did it doggy, then he would as he tends to hit my cervix that way.

It was a little tricky to get in place, once I was aroused I had to place it higher (vagina lengthens once aroused)

Beppy were declared a success for us.

I got them via amazon. Too expensive for every day use, but fab.

I think it's only fair to be honest, then they could make a choice whether to go ahead or not. We don't meet when I'm on. Feels too intimate and not such a hardship

Sometimes they just do a partial hysterectomy. I don't know why they left mine. I didn't know until my post op appointment. I was told I may have a light bleed now and then which turned out to be 3 days every month

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I kin of sympathise with the OP. I have very erratic periods and its nigh on impossible to arrange meets now. No point in saying 'wait til your period finishes' when you don't even know when it will start! I have tried the drug and it does work but, as said above, turns me into a hormonal wreck afterwards. Might have to try Beppy

But for those of you with no periods, regular as clockwork periods, or very light periods, spare a thought for those of us who only seem get periods the day before we're due to met a hot bloke.

We had a meet awhile ago where we had booked the hotel and arranged to meet this couple in Kestrels, then Vixens period came on early.

Rather than letting the other couple down we desperately searched for something to just halt it for a while.

Lemons, that's what saw some people suggesting and we gave it a try as it was natural and easily available.

Vixen, who likes them anyway ate three and it worked, her period stopped with no taste, though we did warn the other couple.

All was well until the next morning, we were staying in the terminal five Travelodge, with its usual white sheets (see where we are going?).

I woke up and Vixen's bum was sticky and wet,my legs were sticky and wet,the bed was sticky and wet.

I turned the lights on and the bed looked like we had used it as a comfy abattoir, it was truly awful.

The lemons must of just sort of bunged her up and the floodgates opened in the morning. We scrubbed the sheets and left in a hurry.

sometimes...it depends on the reason for the op...they initially left my mums ovaries too, so she didn't go through premature menopause, but that meant she still had massive hormonal moods routinely and ovarian pain too...

Different folks , different strokes .

Beppy , the wet ones , are great and available on eBay and amazon .

We have been to clubs and they have always done the trick .

Other times we have just done the glory holes if it's a heavy period .

Obviously this isn't an option for a more intimate meet lol !

Judging others by saying they should wait is wrong on every level . Its their business , their life and surely on a site like this one would expect a little more understanding ?

Norethisterone is good for a one off ie holiday. You take it for three days before period due then stop when u are home. It doesn't always stop periods and you can still get side effects like cramps and raging hormones. Also, when your period does arrive it tends to be very heavy. So I'd really consider is it worth it?

Mirena coil us great...lasts five years and for a lot of women it completely stops their period...not all women though.

I'm about to use Norethisterone again as low and behold mine us due the day I fly to Cap d'Agde!!

I don't know why your worried too much, I have done it with several ladys on there periods and it can be blody good fun no pun intended, after all its only natural just use a towle under you and enjoy the first couple of times were a bit of a shock if I'm honest but once you get used to it its fun, I do know girls that have used a small peace of sponge and it has worked for them

"Beppy are great for one the meet, I always tell the person. However they are a bugger to get out."

I have used these with a couple of regular partners who are both on the larger side... First time I thought I was gonna have to go to a&e to get the bugger out but I found a forum for working girls in the states somehow (the wonders of Google!) where many women had posted simple tips like waiting a few hours afterwards for when the vagina tightens back up as it naturally gets pushed to a more reachable depth, and slight use of a shower head as the wetter it is the heavier it is so it's easier to remove. I haven't tried the wet ones though so might invest in those next time... Although the forum also suggested using lube on the dry ones for easier insertion and removal but I haven't tried that yet.

I don't think I'd use them on any meet though, just with the couple of guys I feel completely at ease with as I don't think I'd feel as uncomfortable with them if there were any leakages

You do realise that sponges shed? Break a piece off and shake it over a piece of white paper and you'll see the little fibres.

And then there's the fact that it has it may have been knocking about under the sink for ages and have all kinds of mould spores in and possibly bacteria too.

Add in the fact that you can break a piece off and it would make for fun retrieval - every time you pull it it would break! Then what do you say to A & E when you need to get assistance removing it so you can avoid toxic shock?

A sponge tampon is designed and shaped for purpose, manufactured and packed in a clean environment and if you ever needed assistance to remove one then it would be the same principle as getting assistance with a traditional tampon that had lost it's thread.
