At least that's what they were put there for, but....

We all use this site how we feel the most comfortable, some like winks, some don't, some see winks as the way they are supposed to be, to draw attention to ones profile in the hope of catching their eye and therefore receiving a wink back (maybe a message if really lucky), some see them as lazy and will either ignore or get mad about them, lol.

It is thought that a nicely well worded message to those who's criteria you appear to fit goes a long way.

We have to be honest and tend to forget to look at them. Messages are better.

We prefer winks, good ice breaker... if we are not interested, we delete... if we like the look, we send an email.
