We are going to amsterdam for a naughty weekend soon, really looking forward to it.

Has anyone got tips, advice and recommendations of places to visit whilst we are there? We are up for most things!

The rld is so random! Super hot (and not so) women in the windows and the live sex shows are so funny you have to check them out

Essex.

We went in May. We did a 3 hour guided walking tour of Amsterdam just after we got there. Then that evening we did a 2 hour walking tour of the red light district.

Both very good and helped save time later as we knew where everything was...

We went to Sameplace, it doesn't start getting busy until after midnight. We gave up about 12ish as we were knackered after getting up at 4 and then doing 5 hours of walking...

Sameplace gets good reviews and we wish we had given it longer. They run a tab system which can make it difficult to keep an eye on what you are spending...

You can walk most places and for about £10 you can get a bus/tram ticket for 24hrs...

Enjoy....

Manchester

We went there a couple of months ago and visited sameplace where we had our first swinging experience ....suffice to say it convinced us to try more Sameplace is easy to walk to from central Amsterdam and though small was really relaxed and not at all expensive - we want to go back there! Apparently there are a couple of other clubs - Paradisein the northern part of the city, and Fata Morgana, a 15 min drive outside the city........put 'Amsterdam' in the search bar of the forum and I'm sure you'll find more info.....have fun!

Wakefield

Can recommend Fata Morgana, it's a nice size and usually quite busy. Has a nice large pool as well. Just make sure you take the right exit off the motorway if driving yourselves as sat nav can sometimes take you off a junction too soon !

Fata morgana was great went with my ex. Lots of beautiful people fantastic food cheap (ish) don't eat first, the buffet is out of this world. zaandam (love boat) looks good but never got that far. Have fun and go easy on the cakes we had a while brownie each and suffered.

Paradise Club, when we went, was very quiet, the pool was cold and a playroom was grubby and stank, however very close to Central Dam. Showboat although a bit out of Dam was busy, friendly, clean and inexpensive and had a great buffet. The Showboat website has, or had, a phone number for "their" taxi which was very reasonable, reliable and very friendly driver - we recommend Showboat. Enjoy.

Go to a bar, chat to some local lasses and you'll be surprised how liberated they can be lol

Just watch where you're eating and drinking and double check prices etc.

I really like Amsterdam and the Dutch in general but it is an expensive place, particularly if you get stung by the tourist traps.

Some places will pressure you into buying drink after drink, I generally avoid these kind of places or leave when I realise what the deal is.

We're going in late September, been before many times. If you want to do a little fun touristy thing - try the horse and coach tours from Dam Square - the drivers will offer you various trips, from about 10 euros. There are two sex museums - the one on Damrak is the better. Expect to be disappointed if you want to try traditional Dutch food - it's quite bland. The McDonald's "Dutch Speciality" burger is a "McKrokken" - a potato croquette in a bun. A popular snack is chips covered with a huge dollop of mayonnaise served in a cone. We thought they were ice-creams when we first saw them The pastries are the best thing they do.

Make sure you get a good hotel in the right area it makes it far easier to get around and a much better experience as some have a lived in appearance.

We stayed in the Ibis Styles just a few hundred yards from Central station. Brilliant for getting about...
