Most people head straight to doggy for anal, avoid thatvposition, it shortens the anal passage and can hurt a lot more.

Let her go on top, slightly up straight as opposed to lying on top of you (my preferred position for anal), or spooning.

I would personally get her up on her hands and knees for grip and control.
