False ages on profiles?

I have found People on here with false ages on their profiles?

What do you think about that?

Are they honest people?

As a man of the grand old age of 50 you need up being outside of many people's categories therefore understand but can they really get away with it. Plus there's nothing wring with being older.

Not sure about other people's ages on here but we always get you can't be 35 & 38..they think we are in our early twenties...bonus for us..

We met a couple in a pub that we suspect was fibbing about their age but you can never be certain.

They looked a lot older than their pic's that they sent us.

They was a really nice couple but it didn't go any further so I guess it was a waste of time really

We met a chap for a social who said he was 52, but his profile said he was 44! Age doesn't matter, it's the person and attraction that counts.

I can't see the point in lying about anything and personally it puts me off as I wonder what else they may be lying about. I've seen a few profiles with a lower age on the details but say they are older (some by a fair few years) in their profile text. Maybe some do it to get around age filters?

I hate it too, spent ages chatting and met someone that was 18 years older than profile i was gutted just felt like I'd been treated like a mug funny thing is I'd meet someone a lot older but I like to be given the choice not have it forced on me and no photos didn't look like that age before someone says it was a tv and its always harder to tell the age

I don't ask for birth certificates,as long as they look like their pics im not too bothered if people have taken a couple of yrs off,one of my friends was 50 a while ago,he looks 40,he even has 40 on his profile,he is exceptionally good looking though

Ive had messages from people that day they're 40 yet look 60

Why do people do it on here. Men to get around age filters,women through vanity. I know one woman who has left now who took 10 years off her age

Get around age filters and maybe to seperate themselves for privacy. Putting a younger/older age may disguuse them from the casual passers by.

I'm honest about my age...

I'd far rather have someone think I'm looking good for my age, than the hard paper round for lying.

I dislike liars, and my worry would be if they can lie about something that basic, what else would they lie about.

My age range is pretty wide tho.

Age is but a number a number is part of time time we must not waste ,I am not bothered about people's age we are all hear to have fun and as long as we all do who cares about age life is to sort to worry about it xxx

Yeap there are a few who tell a few porkies about their age. Not something either of us do. Don't think it's such a great issue providing they are not trying to take off ALL the years they were at school!

Some say if age is a lie what eles? We tend to meet at parties and clubs and if the attraction, chemistry there and all involved are happy they the odd few years don't really matter . We don't tend to converse about age and personal stuff!

Bottom line is some men and woman are very good for their ages and some have evidently had a very hard life!

Meh, we are a young couple, what you see is what you get... Of course you can be your own judge when it comes to trusting a profile. But we have been to a couple of clubs and people said we are really young for this scene.

Why would we lie about our age.

We both mid 40's but in good shape, look after ourselves and always smell good. Lol

Still have all our own teeth and don't wet the bed at night (yet).

If people don't want to meet coz of our age, that's their loss.

Don't they refuse to verify you if put 20 and your pic is of a 50 year old!

Why do people feel they need to lie about anything what happened to been honest. If your up front about everything I think you have more of a chance of getting a meet. I'm 41 and always honest on here I've nothing to hide.
