Me too. So without sounding stupid (I know hard for me) what happens to the consistency of the old baby gravy. Does it change? Taste different etc...

My chaps had the snip. He was a little bruised and swollen for a couple of days. But nothing major. Resumed sex about 3 days after, If I remember rightly...we Just took it easy. He says the feelings etc are completely the same as, pre- snip.

I got the snip many years ago. Perhaps I was lucky but apart from an element of bruising I was fine afterwards and firing on blanks 3 to 4 days afterwards.

It didn't affect my sex drive at all. I've always been very horny. The only difference I noticed was that my cum was much clearer and not so thick and creamy.

I was in my forties and had already had my children so it was a very good option for me. Jim

When I had it done they gave me sample pots and said I needed to have sex at least once a day for 6 weeks to drain off the remainder, and it had to be tested after, I told the wife it was 6 months instead of weeks

The op was nothing totally pain free. I'm a tad tender today like a small muscle pull in your lower abs but other than that I'm taking it easy as that's the best advice I've had from alot I'd my buddies.

I'll see how I feel after the wind before a test run tho

My husband ended up in A&E 24 hours after the procedure because he was in so much pain....he had to be admitted & was on intravenous morphine...the dr said he'd never seen such an extreme reaction in terms of pain & swelling & bruising. We paid to have it done privately too as the waiting list was 18 months.....that was refunded. He wasn't able to have sex for a couple of weeks. He's fine now though.....

When I had mine done I was in pain for some time after four weeks. Infact.

Some guy's do get discomfort.

Also one odd side effect if I don't have an orgasm for any time longer than four day's my balls ache I then have to have two or three big cums to relieve this.

Never happened before the op

My fella had his done about 3 months ago. We couldn't have sex for about 2 Weeks due to the pain and then its taken about 2 months for his swelling to go down. He still isn't totally comfortable now but we think its due to an old hernia op. x

Had mine done 10 years ago, got an infection and was in agony for a week with one of my balls going purple and bigger than a golf ball.

Day 3 and to say I'm tender is about right.

Not a sexual thought had entered my head since I've had it done and jusy the thought of it being touched turns out old boy into an acorn.

The swelling is going down maybe a week or so hopefully I'll be ready to play.

Had the snip 14 years ago. I did get an infection and ended in hospital. Going to the gym 24 hours after not a good idea and opened up the wound.

Cum is a bit thin, great knowing no more issues with having any more children. Made Me more horny would recommend to anyone.

Surely having had a vasectomy doesn't make any difference to attracting women? Unless of course you won't use condoms post op. When you did use condoms was it only pregnancy you were trying to prevent?

13 yrs ago for me , in and out in minuets drove home, done it on fri work on Monday, uncomfortable but not painfull, well worth the effort and easier than the fem being sterilized.

recommend it to anyone, cant remember now what it was like before but works fine now

I had it about 14 years ago under local anaesthetic. No immediate pain and I walked out painless, but there was quite some discomfort for two or three weeks later.

Sex with your regular partner becomes much, much more relaxed and therefore more enjoyable. Libido is unaffected and if I had to really try hard to find any side effects it would be that there is slightly less ejaculate and it is a bit thicker in consistency.

If you are a couple in a committed relationship and absolutely know that you don't want any more children, then it is a no brainer.
