Hotel meets

As I have said previously, I have no problems paying for a hotel to meet a lady.

But where I do feel awkward is, say after and afternoon session and we have to leave at 5-6pm, is when I have to hand the keys back to the receptionist!!

Anybody else have this problem or do you just leave the keys in the room when you go?

Love to hear your views on this.

Travelodge are handy - just leave the electronic key in the box.....they are used to it anyway!

Confidence is the key, they've seen it all before however if you're still nervous you can do the following (if you're in a boutique type hotel ~ no express checkout)

Either pay in full when you book online or when you check in, don't add any charges to the room.

When you want to leave just hand the key into reception and ask them to look after it whilst you're out for the evening.

The only funny looks we get are when we walk back in with another couple after meeting them in the pub!

Handing the key in later, as we are all walking out smiling is funny!

Although when we checked in the last time I was a bit nervous they were going to give me a cleaning bill! The bed was a little damp after the previous meet we had there, to say the least!

I always stay overnight and like to treat the lady with respect and not rush her so......when she is in the shower....tell her you need to get something from your car and.......fuck off...lol.....leaving her with the room key to hand back in!!! Lol

I stay in hotels 3 or 4 times a week and only get a real key about twice a year use another hotel book online drop key card in box when you leave and to be honest hotel staff are on minimum wage work long hours and dont give a dam what you do even if they noticed which I doubt.if you book hotels around airports sea ports many do day rates as they are 24hr environments ibis do £48 day rate at heathrow so its a non issue

Thanks for the candid replies folks.

I still get a little uncomfortable handing a key back, but I now give a little smile and just walk out with my lovely dates, not looking back!

Love the one where she's in the shower and the "gentleman" buggers off to leave here to hand the key in pmsl

I used to just leave the key in the room. Most hotels are card activated now so no issue.

Just leave the clean me sign on the door.
