it doesn't. I've done it myself. It's just working yourself up to doing it. just need a little hole. Once the liquid is out it will begin to heal otherwise it will take days longer.

Being a foot fetishist, can I just say, that liquid in the blister is there for a reason. It's nature's healing lotion. Anyway it's bloody annoying, so yes pop it!! Honest it doesn't hurt, just a very small hole at the side and push.
