Just wondered if someone could answer a question for me.

I've seen a few couples profile where they specifically state they aren't interested in bi-guys

Why is this? I'm not trying to change anyone's mind. Just a genuinely curious.

I understand that if the male in the couple isn't Bi he wouldn't want the bi-guy to do anything to him but why no bi-guys altogether?

I'm pretty sure most bi-guys would be happy with a meet where they were only going to play with the female as long as everyone communicates their likes beforehand.

Am I missing something?

Yes, you are. You are missing the fact that it is their choice. Couples like many scenarios. Some of those scenarios do not involve bi male contact. Some people like red. Some people like yellow. Live and let live.

I assume you like certain things and not others? Likes and dislikes often have no logical explanation. Why do you like or dislike marmite?

This is actually what I'd got in mind..

Some people like red, some people like yellow.

They are two different and distinct things.

If you met a straight guy and a bi-guy you wouldn't actually know that until that person told you (or they tried to suck your cock

What is it about bi-guys that drives that preference?

I'm asking because I'm a bi-guy and I can't see this from that point of view because by my very nature my preference is for both

This is not really going anywhere, is it? You dislike marmite because you dislike it. I like marmite because I like it. Preference. Choice. Explanations may be scientifically possible (though I have yet to come across one). Personal explanations (or are you looking for justifications?) are not.

Don't worry trying to work to much out on here your dealing with people here that can be difficult in it's self . We are both bi and prefer to meet other bi couples or bi singles it's just what we are into but it doesn't mean we play bi all the time depends on the night . Hope I've confused you even more

You get the same sort of thing on some profiles "won't meet black or asian men" not everyone person is the same you can't change their racist or homophobic views just be glad they are open about their hatred and be happy you can steer clear of them.

How do tell if someone is bi?

There are a few profiles and forum posts I've seen that complain about straight people "pretending" to be bi just try and get a meet.

What if it were the other way around. What if a profile said "no bi guys" and someone who would normally identify as bi created a profile claiming they were straight.

It's a bit different to saying "clean shaven men only"

If someone then turned up with a beard you'd send him packing

I don't know unless he tells me, but then I rarely play with people I don't know much about.

It matters to me if he's straight or bi and that's all that concerns me.

There's everyone for someone on here, including people who like bi guys.

For some, men and women alike, the thought of two guys getting it on is simply stomach churning.

Like the guy above though, I could quite easily point out 20/25 guys local to me who will claim til they are blue in the face that they are straight yet meet guys for sex.

If I included straight guys that have messaged us for meets but ee haven't taken it further than an initial message, the number would be closer to 100.

Higher risk and uncomfortable with it.

We don't state no bi men in our profile but we wont meet couples where the male is bi.

Why oh why are so many people afraid and or ashamed to state the fact when applicable 'I am homophobic'. It isn't a crime to be homophobic but persecuting homosexuals is.

It was only in the late 60's that homosexuality was de-criminalised, some 45 years ago but that is after 100's of years of government and religious bodies brainwashing society into believing that people engaged in homosexual activities were disgusting depraved sexual perverts!

1952, just 5 years before I was born Alan Turing, one of the men who helped England win WW2 and also invented the concept of modern computers was convicted under the heading of "committed acts of homosexuality" was sentenced to either 12 months in prison or chemical castration... how barbaric is that? The point is homophobia has been built into society, by society.

Then... one day after 100's of years to the contrary, in the late 60's society wakes up to a society and government that now says homosexual activities are no longer illegal and you MUST all change from a government, religion and society supported persecution of homosexuals to treating them as equals in all respects... by any stretch of the imagination... its a big ask!

Is it really any wonder that many people still find just the thought of two men having sex as totally revolting?

Is it really that wrong for heterosexuals to state for ANY reasons they may have that they do not wish to engage in sex play with persons who are not 100% heterosexual?

I'm with you I don't understand how a bi guy is a put off for a couple/ single, if the said bi guy knows to play straight!! As for the whole just the thought of two guys together is stomach churning that frankly to me is homophobic! How many of these couples/singles will not meet bi women?!?

I don't think there's an exact answer really but it does kinda make me remember times when men seem to presume every gay/bi guy will find them attractive!

I personally don't see anything wrong with feeling repulsed by any particular sexual act. We find just the idea of 'scat' totally repulsive but we wouldn't reject a single/couple because they enjoyed scat. They would just be made fully aware that its never going to happen with us.

Other people may have a different view and find that just knowing a person enjoys scat puts them off having anything to do with them.

I get the impression that the OP was looking for responses along the lines of, "I'm homophobic because..."

I don't see anything wrong with being homophobic provided it doesn't manifest itself as fuel to abuse bisexuals/homosexuals.
