..... send really rude messages after you politely say no? I usually send something like "thanks for message but your not my type / too far away etc but good luck on here" Seems I increasingly get messages back; always from guys with no veri's calling me a slag; or that they wouldn't want to meet a fat bitch like me anyway (I'm a size 12). Is pisses me off that some guys seem to come on here with no idea of what swinging is and expect to get a loads of quick fucks! Rant over - going back to blocking idiots

Not all men do I have sent many 'no thank you x ' messages in 2half years never had a rude/offensive reply.just deleted or thanku for replying and a few whys.i feel that no thanku is adequate.

have had 3 randoms out the blue just saying something insulting but they were laughable.its like one a year lol

Any 'no thanks' replies i recieve are replied to with a 'thanks for the reply - good luck'.

I think the abuse is coming from men who see this sight as a last resort. They have had no luck in the outside world. They see people on here as as desperate as themselves and to get a refusal on here only rubs salt into their wounded egos. They still dont understand that a lack of women showing them interest, is down to them. But thats idiots and sociopaths for you.

Sadly too many guys think a swingers site like this operates the same way as Domino's Pizza - you place an order & 15 minutes later it arrives at the door piping hot & ready to eat.

The idea that they might actually get a knock back is something many cannot begin to comprehend.

Manners cost nothing, these guys that are rude and offensive just show themselves up for what they really are - Block them and be done. Taking the piss out of them at a later stage doesn't really help the situation. The vast majority of people that I have come across(no pun intended)have been extremely kind and decent people it's a pity the minority, once again, spoil it for others.

I'm afraid some people, fortunately the minority, are rude and immature and don't have the self confidence nor respect to accept a polite no thanks. If they were, then great, there would be no "why don't people reply" type posts as life would be fine and dandy but unfortunately these people spoil it for some as usual. I used to reply in a similar way to the op and had a few insults hurled back but blocking after sending is the way to go if like me, you don't like ignoring people. No comeback then.

At times sometimes to many to reply to I have heard it said here and elsewhere any kind of positive response to a reply

Back is better than none at all but again ladies views on that differ from your own so there will always be negative feedback as well unfortuneately

I honestly don't understand the logic of these guys. To even get a reply from a sent message on here is quite an accomplishment in itself, at times.

You've taken the time and effort to reply, even if it is a polite "No". That's more than us guys should expect, to be fair. Although I wholeheartedly prefer to receive these polite "No's" - I fully understand why a lot of women just choose not to reply.

Well, as a male very used to getting knocked back I always appreciate a thanks but no thanks sort of reply, with or without a reason. I usually do write back thanking them for the reply and then I usually block them, simply so that I don't waste each others time in the future by looking through their profile and writing to them again.

Yep, we also sometimes get the rude replies after we've done a polite "no thanks", usually from people with zero length profiles and an opening message of "Can we meet?".

We also find it's not just the rude messages back that get up your nose but also the "ongoing stupidity" ones.

We've gone to a lot of trouble with our profile to explain what we want, who we won't meet and the fact that we only play from time to time as we have a life off here, but it seems such information is totally ignored.

Checking messages one lunchtime while working from home one memorable first set of messages went:

"Hello, my name is XXXX, can I fuck your wife this afternoon as I've got accommodation to myself". He had no pics in his profile, had been on fab for more than a year and had no verifications either and we'd never chatted before.

I tried gently to point out that for all I knew he could be the local axe-murderer so we never do total stranger meets, always a social first, and even then only after seeing at least some body pics (we appreciate some folk, like us, don't blast face pics over the internet).

He kept persisting that he was a wonderful person and everything was above board and only cos I thought it just might educate him to the problems did I even carry on chatting rather than blocking him then and there.

Finally I said "Look, I'm tied up waiting for a delivery, but would it be ok if I just popped the lady in a taxi?"

No problem, "I'll give you an address" went the next message.

"And when she fails to come home, just how do I explain that to the local police?" I asked.

"No problem man, I'm a nice guy, you can trust me, after all I've given you an address".

I tried to point out that once she got out at that address (that might not actually be anything to do with him), she could easily be whisked off to anywhere and treated in anyway he and maybe a bunch of his mates wished, so only a total idiot would allow his lady to meet in that way, but he just persisted in telling me he was ok, there would be no problems.

Finally I got bored and blocked him.

But he's not the only one I can assure you.

You're right. Couples can't take being turned down either. If someone isn't interested, they're just not interested. We've never had a a guy be rude though.

We have only ever had a handful of abusive messages back after sending a thanks but no thanks message. Most reply back with a polite thanks for your reply and wishing us all the best.

To be honest the rude replies have mainly come from other couples not single men!

funny i can usualy tell by their pics, profile or message if they arent going to like me saying thanks but your not realy my type. so i block them straight away. they usualy just say, why not.

i had a message from someone ages ago who said that i prefered fat men and another one said i prefered men who looked like mr. bean.

im not actualy showing their verifications anymore as it was a long time ago.
