my mrs says ive started going through it.... what constitutes a mid life crisis ? (this kicked off because I wanna buy an audi a5 quattro) is this an early warning sign or is she just being a prick ?

One of my friends says I'm going through it as I've joined a gym excercisng to lose weight lol a lot and I bought a Mini Cooper !!! She reckons I should have a safe car at 37, I think you just get to a point you want to sample everything x x x x

Audi A5's are gorgeous but I'm not a huge Audi fan they cost a lot for what they are and performance wise I don't rate them

You want a supra - something a bit edgy with a dark side were the back end might go if you push a bit too hard

Alternatively if going sideways doesn't appeal get a evo/Subaru

Bought a Z3 2.8 a few months ago. Might change it though for an old Merc 500SL.

Why not purchase a caravan instead? Not only will it salve the middle aged bit but if you paint flames down the side, it will also salve the lost youth bit too! The youth can travel...the middle aged can have a nice cup of tea

Had the r8 but all it does is make you anxious about what envious twats will do to it when parked up. My suggestion. Join a supercar club like ecurie25 and get to play in everything from a boxter to the new mclaren with ferraris and Lamborghini for fun. Costs three grand, gets you eight to ten weekends and much better value once you factor in insurance, depreciation and cost of running. Mind you..... I have this thing about playing in a range rover which always brings a smile to all concerned!
