I am not an avid club goer but I can say I have been to a fair few. Yes, I have been to clubs on my own, with female friends, and sometimes with male friends. I have noticed that a lot of people/singles/couples simply sit there in their own little pairs/groups/counsels etc and dont move a muscle to interract at all. What is the point in coming to a club if all you want to do is sip a drink? Why come to a club only to fuck only the woman/man you came with? A friend just said to me its probably for the chow/spread that is laid on. On a more serious note, I suggest organisers reconsider the positioning of seats/chairs or do away with them altogether. Or maybe, they could employ professional facilitators . Who agrees with me ?

We pay our money to play in clubs just the way WE want to. We don't need 'facilitators' to enforce your idea of socialising on us thanks all the same.

You seem to forget some people go to watch, put on a show or just soak up the atmosphere. We're not all party animals.

Lmao here here!!!

But I think it depends on the club. Some seem to be set out like houses so aren't conducive to mingling, but others, with dance floors, DJ's and lots if rooms, force mingling

My House

We love clubs but we don't always go with the intention of playing. Sometimes it's just nice to have a night out without being at an ordinary club or pub.

The op has a valid point .

We are avid club goers and wouldn't dream if going if we were not going to play . That's assuming there are people who we are attracted to , and it's reciprocal of course !

The amount of times exactly what he says happens though is crazy .

Couples sit with each other all night , looking at the table or at each other , making no eye contact . Single guys gather at the bar , slowly getting pissed and ever more less attractive with their behaviour . And those who don't get pissed , find a corner and sit on their own waiting in vain for someone to talk to .

It would be much better to arrange seating in a more conducive way to get folk chatting .

And who knows , the action may start before midnight now and again !

depends who you go with, im single and have met guys off here and gone to clubs with them, if your meeting off here and using a club as a play to play then more often than not you will only play with the person you go with

In the end we can't worry about others, they maybe just happy, being in a sexual atmosphere outside of their own bedroom, others want to put on a show, others want to watch.

Usually most are decent to chat to even if they are not interested.

The most tricky part about breaking that ice is trying to talk over music that can be a little too loud.

I normally take it that if someone sits close enough to us they are not repulsed by us and so we strike up a conversation and take a chance.

I`ve always thought that ladies who wear fancy shoes to a club have completely missed the point as most wouldn`t have got past looking at their tits!!!

Is it not a little strange that people are refusing to see the point?

I am glad you see it.

I see single guys and indeed couples moving from door to door or window to window in the hope of catching a glimpse of some non existent action. The sooner people change their attitudes(entrenched positions) of thinking they have some kind of upper hand and will therefore just sit/stand/lie in their little corners and wait for others to approach and 'woo' them, there better it will be for the swinging world. After all, if you were that self sufficient, you would have simply fucked yourself(pardon my latin).

I maintain that it is a fallacy that someone comes to a club to ONLY soak up the environment. At best it could be that they did not find any mutual attraction and therefore decided to stay just to watch as a last resort.

Talking is good, but ladies and gentlemen of the fuck-and-talk fraternity, it is merely a means to an end.

We go to clubs and often sit and chat to each other, the same as we do if we go to a pub. The difference is MrsH can wear outfits that she could not wear in a pub. As an exhibitionist that is what she likes to do.

Some of those that sit with just each other may be first timers and nervous. We have often been and only payed with each other as sometimes there is just no one there we are attracted to. It is a case of each to their own
