Because women make more effort generally and don't send "fancy a shag" one liners.....that's also why they ignore similar messages from guys....

After being mucked about and let down a couple of times I went through a phase of blocking men in my message filters to stop any messages and concentrated on finding people I was interested in, checked their profile, veris etc to see if I'd be someone they would maybe want to meet and sent a constructive message. Some replied, some didn't but I generally have much more success and less time wasters doing it this way.

Being totally honest, rejection still stings a little since I've never been one to put myself out there until I joined this site. It's far preferable than having to be the one doing the rejecting though! Especially when you get the 'but why not' response.

why is it rejection when somone says sorry not interested or not my type I dont think it should be called rejection , just not my type or not fitting into my preferences, we are all grown ups on here? Because some can't take rejection.

I'm fine with rejection...it helps to while away the long evenings using my CIA contacts to track the bastards who've said no and then stalk them for a few weeks before letting BlondeTaz out to practice his filleting skills

Being totally honest, rejection still stings a little since I've never been one to put myself out there until I joined this site. It's far preferable than having to be the one doing the rejecting though! Especially when you get the 'but why not' response."

I've never messaged first. Not for any reason other than I've not felt the need to look for anyone.

When I was single woman on here I got tons to sift through anyway.

Yes they do. Although friends have told me they get so inundated with messages, they rarely bother looking.
