Hi all we recently organised a party we hired a flat invited cpls ladies and single guys we asked single guys to bring condoms a bottle of wine and £5 donation to cover costs

There were 4 ladies there playing and now one guy is hassling us and sending nasty txts saying it was a scam

Love to hear thoughts from both sides before I arrange another

Don't know if he sued but no lady was saying no just interested in fellow fab bets tske on subject

Apologies for late reply sat why Gus only to donate I'm old fashioned ladies are ladies and should be treated as such never let a lady buy me a drink in fifty odd years not starting now

Agsin thanks I think as I said earlier you just can't please all

I was a single guy and it's hard to meet and hard to accom

We offered a solution he obviously didn't like it

Rented a flat and only charged £5. That's a bargain. But no way would I go to party with 20 blokes and only 4 women lol. The guy was probably expecting more then just bunch of single blokes which is why he is saying it is scam. Maybe anyway.

Four ladies n 20 guys seems more like a GB or a greedy girl session.

I hold parties for CPLs and equally balanced (ish) singles. I provide buffet n soft drinks...a few beers and a few bottles of wine. Alcohol otherwise bring own. I wouldn't dream of charging anyone formally - just have a "donations" box.

Always works for me!

Or biased you can see how some would think its a scam. If you had a shop would you just charge the males and your old fashioned attitude let women take what they want for free?

Am with you in the fact bloke pay am old fashioned like that also and his kicking a fuss over a fiver! If he was disappointed with the numbers he knows where the door was. If everyone has a good time and just 1 tight ass that moans I wouldn't worry and continue to do more of them.. I would have paid more than that towards costs but that's just me I guess am fortunate enough not to be tight (far from rich)

Personally I'd say if it was a private party invite only I'd expect everyone to pay the same if costs need to be covered it's only fair.

Clubs are different as they have have to work the numbers.
