Just a thought for all those who complain about not getting replies to initial messages .. we said "thanks but no thanks" to a guy from Nottingham today and got a snotty reply and barred for our pains .. so why bother?

You must be unlucky,last week I sent absolutey loads of thank you but no thanks,any responses I got were very polite

I try to reply to all my messages & am polite to everyone. Most come back & thank me for taking the trouble to reply, occasionally I get a snotty retort. I don't let the odd snotty one put me off though as they are in the minority

I must say - it's nice to get some kind of reply. Even if it's no.

I know what the site rules are, but even a 'no' shows a lady/couple have manners.

We try always reply , and if its a thanks but no thanks , we block straight away and don't wait for no reply.. Never had a nasty message! Lol ... Simples!
