Why are some people so ignorant? I've been arranging a meet with someone all day then when it comes to the actual meet they just ignore you? How frustrating is that?

It's happened to us, we suggest a time and place and they stop messaging, this is often after they have suggested a meet themselves.

Unfortunately, some people like to play games. If you haven't heard from them for several days before the meet and they don't reply to a confirmation text on the day, assume the meet is off. Although sometimes life does get in the way...

Brighton - even Hove!

Arrange a meet in a cafe then when they don't turn up, you can finish your coffee and go shopping. No big loss, really. It is frustrating but it happens.

Sorry but it is a big loss. When we have to make expensive child care arrangements for a rare weekend of adult fun & then it is spoilt by some timewasting wanker I can assure you it is not covered by a large cappuccino.

That is why we have virtually stopped meeting people from fab. We now prefer clubs & organised parties.

If many single guys struggle to get meets that is one of the causes.

Try actually turning up at their house at the arranged time for the met and then, after three hours of chatting (I'm a patient soul!) she says she doesn't feel well and backs out - now that's frustrating.

We can really appreciate that one. Child care ain't cheap.

I think we've all been there at some point and for me personally I wouldn't give them another chance as been there too often

Better have her back out than go through with something she doesn't want to

No probs. Having just had an evening of fun ruined we were a bit wound up when we posted.

Seems to be quite common, think a lot of people just enjoy the chase rather than the actual meet but don't be upfront about it. Frustrating as honesty costs nothing but travel etc does.

Agree 100% the lady should have the right to say no at any point.

Some want to try it and chicken out at the last minute not leaving enough time to inform the other person.

Not nice but personally I couldn't enjoy it knowing the lady wasn't 100% sure! then again I don't get the chance to show how much of a gentleman I am
