Is Porn teaching young guys bad sex ?

Sevenoaks

Whilst not a great connoisseur of porn – I do occasionally browse to the rodent site and have noticed that most of the clips on there seem to be very demeaning towards women. Lots of deep throat and gagging as well as obsession with anal and women just being there to pleasure the guys regardless. (OK it may just be my choice of clips !! )

As it is has become so easily available for boys and young men over the last few years I wondered whether this has had an effect which can be seen in the scene?

I was prompted to this thought after a rather lovely pleasurable session as it was mentioned that although young guys had great bodies and stamina (Oh those were the days…) they really didn’t know how to please..

I remember when growing up there were a few magazines and titles like electric blue which did the rounds- most of my learning however was ‘on the job’ as it were, by trial and error. one listens for the right noises and repeat what you’re doing – trying different things until the objective was achieved. Nowadays I assume a guy pops on the net and sees what to do – and I worry that they expect that all sex should be like it is in the films – with the main aim of unloading all over a girls face and maybe slapping them while they do ….

Now if this is the way they learn as girls going along with it as they think its expected of them ? that is worrying. There could be good news, in so far as a generation grow up rubbish at sex may meant that my chances as a dirty old man increase to fill the gap (we can but dream …) but its not a good prospect really.

Anyway enough rambling – just wondered if experiences with the younger guys show a trend or not!

Indeed, a crap lover is a crap lover, regardless of age, just as enough common sense to realise that most women probably don't like being slapped during sex, choked whilst giving oral or having a strangers cock slammed into her anus without property preparation, isn't the exclusive intellectual property of older swingers.

True - there are crap lovers out there - my concern is that 'porn sex' is so accessible.

Maybe if you come across a crap lover we could have a survey to find out if they watch much porn?

Aside from all that it completely dissuades anyone from the idea that the biggest tool is the mind.

Apparently all you have to do is turn up and do some stuff!

Maybe, but as I can't think of a safe way to go through a womans stomach during sex, I simply go in for warm, tender kisses and deep, slow penetration, and catch her heart in a sort of affectionate sexual pincer manoeuvre

Definitely, though moreso 'out there' than on fabs I think. I think it depends on their innate 'feel' too. Those who don't have much will do what they have seen and go for the camera angle/visual stimulation, rather than the feel of it half the time!!

But those who have good feel are obviously much more aware of feedback as well as more sensual themselves, and their style is timeless.

Finding them is the key!!

In short O.P. Yes.

Porn is having an effect on attitudes toward sex.

If the effects were simply that there was less coyness and more enjoyment then all would be well and good.

Porn as it is does much to ensure that women are simply a convenience to shoot on , in , over and certainly not sentient human beings.

It's difficult to sometimes be understood on this point due mainly to misogyny and ageism.

Most women don't want slapping or having their neck squeezed or hair pulled, or something long and hard rammed roughly down their throats until their faces are red and puffy , their mascara running with the tears and they are unable to breathe.

The majority don't want raping or taking roughly up the arse nor will they introduce their sisters or neighbours to men because they are gagging for you.

There are far too many anti female scenarios to describe. I'm sure we've all seen them.

As long as we continue with the 'nice girls don't do sex' idea that society perpetuates so men can feel safe about their lovely wives and daughters whilst mistreating WHORES,SLAGS,BITCHES and any other label to make vile behaviour more permissable this type of porn will always have the upper hand.

Frankly ...... if a bloke NEEDS porn to get a hard on and wank then he's not up to much.

Did I say in short ?

I know it can be kinky fun for a bloke to dominate and mistreat but he's not exactly having sex he's on a power/ego trip.

Likewise women who encourage much of this play are indulging in the psychological element of it. Not so much sex as relationship power balances etc.

While im at it ....... Witness the use of social media to threated to rape, multi rape and disfigure women who attempt to have a voice in society , doing their daily job - OUR society......

Since when did that become acceptable ?

Porn has taught me nothing when it comes to the "job". It's allowed me to explore my fetishes further, to pin point exactly what it is that turns me on. But techniques and basic interactions no. I'm a self taught love maker!! Lol

On a serious note I know there's problems with youth today take references on how to treat partners by the things they watch. That's something the education system has to deal with.

My pennies worth.

Actually watching game of thrones also seems to reiterate the fact that most women are whores ethos which I think is a shame - I thought we had moved on...clearly not.

I am looking forward to the day when sexual equality means that single girls and single guys pay the same to get into a club - then we have achieved something like equality.

Ah..... made me chuckle. Depends on your perspective.

Males think they are over charged.

Women don't realised they are let in free because they are the fuck pigs in clubs.

When women are allowed equality we will all be charged the present male rate x not vice versa

Somewhere in North Norfolk

One of my previous bfs was a virgin when I met him and had learned everything he knew about sex from porn.

He wasn't selfish and didn't want to demean, (he'd have had no chance anyway), but he was an absolutely crap shag.

No matter how much I told him what I wanted and enjoyed, some ideas were just firmly rooted in his head.

One example was him thinking that mad thrusting equated to good sex. When I went on top it was like trying to ride a bucking bronco. He seemed determined to try to eject me through the ceiling. It didn't matter how many times I told him about it, he always did it.

I watch my fair share of porn I won't deny that but I have never looked to it for learning, porn is an exaggerated fantasy of real sex. I think exactly the same can be said for women and couples mind the amount of people only looking for big cocks or BBC is pretty high and yes its personal preference and all but I think BBC especially is a very porn concept

As with all aspects of life, people are influenced by fiction in a number of ways based on their intellect.

So an intelligent person will realise that pornography is very different from real life sex.

It's a debate that rages on over different aspects of media including video games, news channels and pornography.

It's more a question, in the case of pornography in education, if pornography is shoved under the carpet and not discussed then this causes problem. It's nothing to do with the availability of pornography, take Holland for example, more liberal attitude towards sex, lower teen both rate, lower rape cases, lower sexual abuse cases versus the UK per capita

Yes I do think so... In addition to that though I know that done men feel inadequate what they most see is big cocks and toned bodies... So even if they are very lovely in themselves they compare and to some suffer from sexual self estime issues.

A lovely young guy I know who is very pleasurable feels he needs a cock girth widening implant...the only cocks he has seen are in porn... He is perfectly equipt as he is but can't believe it.

In the most part yes I think it teaches them unrealistic expectations on how to have sex, to both the guys and girls, and a false image of what the partners should look like and how they should act, and what acts actually happen.

however saying that we've met a couple of younger guys recently that have been the complete opposite to what you'd expect as the "norm" so I don't think it really effects people as much as the media likes to portray.

People may watch porn ( even enjoy it or making it) but most can differentiate between that and the real world

That's something I always find fascinating about porn. Whilst there are plenty of good looking male pornstars, the emphasis on their looks is nothing like as high as for the women, and thusly you often see guys who would probably go unnoticed in the street having sex with women who would surely be classed as 9s or 10s - why? Because they have big cocks, and can presumably keep them up even when being scrutinised by a camera crew and repeatedly having to stop and start.

Well I'm a young man so to speak, I guess watching

porn over the years, it does paint a picture or

an expectation of how sex could be, but in reality

it's not, I find the pleasure of sex to be at best

stimulating, not about the 'money shot' but about

enjoying the moment, connecting on a human level,

whilst understanding your partner and both reaching an I quote snoop dogg's song for this "sexual eruption"
