So I've just been talking to a lady who did not like the fact I am bisexual, going as far as saying I'm messed up and being abusive to me when I pointed out she was bisexual.

What's that about?

Fear and ignorance!

Having an opinion is one thing, but being abusive...

There are quite a few very narrow minded people on this site. Enjoy your sexuality be you bi or St8. Just ignore and move on, life's too short J

For some insane reason it seems the norm for a woman being bisexual to be accepted, but when the role is reversed it seems to be frowned on. I just wish I knew why

Report, block and move on. Life's too short to worry about it

In thick skinned but find it strange to be so judge mental and abusive when you are bisexual yourself. I appreciate opinions but I feel this is complete hypocrisy.

It sounds to me like you simply entered into conversation with someone who finds your sexual leaning doesn't match their idea of acceptable behaviour....

Which is no big deal

how do you know she is bisexual??

She didn't like that you're bi, that's her choice and she's fully entitled to it. Reading between the lines, it sounds like you then tried to reason/argue with her choice by pointing out that she was bi too - which would rile anyone.

She's entitled to be bisexual and to be turned off by bisexual men without having to justify or rationalise her choice to anyone. Click 'back' and forget about it!

I was not looking to get into an argument with her, but after a not so nice email I just wanted to point out she was tarring herself. I thanked her for her feedback and left it at that.

I'm nice guy and will take no do an answer and respect others opinions.

This. Just block her. There will always be people who don't agree with your sexual preferences, political opinions, colour of your shirt etc. Ultimately this is a stranger on a website so not worth a second thought. Hit block and find someone who likes you for who you are.

I totally agree. We are all made differently and having opinions is totally acceptable. Being abusive is not. J

Oddly enough I found it the other way when friends were told I was bisexual because having a gay friend was found but not a dirty disgusting bisexual woman, I put it down to the fact that she was an immature child

Some people on here find it easy being abusive hiding behind their screen... Not acceptable... Block and ignore

Takes all sorts, eh?

It would be dull if we all agreed.... with the exception of those agreeing to meet me and then I think they are fantastic

Just be thankful that she showed herself to be a bigoted idiot before you got too involved with her....

Be true to yourself and be happy!

role reversed..try being cd/tv that seems to be one step short of axe murderer or molestor in a more than a few peoples views.

and on the other foot..its "ok" for a guy to shag around in the general view but if a girl does so..she is a "tart".

Its all a bit mixed up, always has been and probably will be for some time to come too!

good luck, whatever anyone's persuasion.
