Just wondering how many messages land in yr inbox daily. i can get anything between zero and ten...which is quite low...very low compared to some who say they get hundreds

We generally don't get a lot of mail out of nowhere, it's usually responses to forum posts or if we've winked/fabbed someone.

Yeah I think at best probably 3 maybe 4?

Its incredible the amount some get on here. I met with a woman from another site and she showed me some messages it was beyond ridiculous the sheer volume.

Before I applied pretty much every message filter known to man, I used to get upwards of 50 a day, now I get a far more managable 10 to 20!

Sometimes days without. Sometimes a fair few but never an insurmountable amount.

When we had a single female account on here for just her it got to very silly levels even with no profile text or pics.

At the moment our filters are quite strict so barely any unsolicited ones. From experience relaxing the filters ups the numbers considerably.

Most we have had in a day was 22. We usually get 5-10 a day. Most are just one liners or cut and pasted generic messages they send to everyone.

We reply to the odd one if someone has taken time to pen a decent mail or just say thanks if someone has complimented jools.

I had a single profile a while back within a week it had 1500 messages and that was with filters on and asking for winks instead of messages,it was a complete nightmare so I deleted it,it does happen but id rather have no messages than 100s of rubbish ones,or even look and message myself

When I first joined there were about a hundred within an hour. That's without having pics up or anything! Then I learnt how to use filters and that the block button was my new best friend lol

depends....fresh messages from folk i don't regularly talk to....one a week perhaps....i used to have peppa pig as my avatar and the numbers were definately higher, now i have this artsy fartsy face pic its dropped...

ah well, sticking with my artsy fartsy face pic for now...

If we post a meet it can be up to 30

I once counted mine. I had nigh on 200. Feel free to doubt it, as it is a silly amount, but it was true on that day. A lot were from friends, a few were on-going conversations and a lot were from people who had seen me in the forum or seen my pics.

We used to get upwards of 70 per day - mostly from guys who totally ignored the preferences outlined on our profile.

Since then we have sharpened up the profile & blocked wholesale all those repeat offenders who still ignore it & wont take a polite no for an answer.

Probably down to a couple per day.

On my single profile which I can't filter it can be 0 it can be 180, feel feel to read that out in Tony Greens voice. That day I had put lots of pics up though and it did test whether I was willing to say no thanks to everyone (I did)

I went through a brief phase a few weeks ago where my inbox was fairly active, alas it's gone very quiet again now. I've found the site has pretty much been stuck in the winter for close to a year now, very few prospects of opportunities to pursue.

We've sent quite a few messages since we joined but have had no replies to any of them, not 1. Our 1st contact messages usually go along the lines of saying hello, read their profile & would be interested in chatting to them. We also like to mention something from their profile text because that should prove to them that we did read it & not just saying we did. The 1 message we did get said she was interested, we sent a reply & never heard from her again either. What are we doing wrong? Is our profile that bad?

Compared to others fems I know that sure sounds low however have you thought it may be relative to your profile....no verifications and been on here over a year. A previous thread said most couples etc reading such would dismiss on that basis, harsh but appears true.

We have 300 unread in our box at the moment but we didn't get them all today lol. We do get lots everyday though and some people get very arsey when we don't reply x
