Hi, what should I do..as a guy on here as pics & a vid of me & is now showing people fem my fb account them by sending them privert messages. On there...is it a police matter? Dontbknow what to do..no idea who it is either?...

it might depend how they got hold of them - if you gave but in the hope of them staying private you have been let down or too trusting - anything on internet isnt sacred - if they got them by getting into your private files then im guessing thats a different matter

Not sure what the police could do really...if you consented to the pics and video they will probably say that unless you entered into a contract that he wasn't allowed to show them to anyone then there's nothing they can do!

Just shows that you can never be too careful who you let have pics and videos tho!

I'd change your status offering cam fun for starters. I doubt there is much you can do. Ask your FB friends who this person is. If you have met him or know what he looks like then you have something to go on. If you haven't met him then I assume you have been exchanging naughty pics with a "stranger". Here's a lesson in anonymity, discretion and caution.

Has anyone from your fb said they've seen it?

I asked but last year I had messages from a man saying he'd seen videos of me on a website, that he knew I was wearing black etc. It obviously panicked me so I went on a search (apparently the videos were under my profile name). I did very thorough searches and found no signs, but he then went on to say he could see me as we speak (but no volume) and it must be from a hidden camera that my husband had set up! That's when I knew it was all bulls***

If you were on cam chat , and he uploaded it , it's gonna be hard to make a case to go to the police with it . Imagine if everyone who had cammed went to the police when it had been recorded and put on the web !

Put on your fb status words to the effect of ' some perv is offering to show video of me on cam , let me know who he is please '

Anyone who knows and cares about you will do just that , and won't judge you .

Sorry OP but your threads don't add up. You say he's off of here but you don't know who he is. Then you say he didn't get them off here but from somewhere else a couple of years ago. He's sent your fb friend a pm but you still don't have his details...if indeed it's actually a he.

Sounds like a tall tale to me. However, if it's gen then as most people have said above take it as a lesson learned.

i really wouldnt worry too much...this is a nasty thing someones done to you and its embarrassing i agree .. but theres so much porn out there im sure no one apart from you will take very much notice of it .. true . try the police ... i hope they trace the idiot who did this .. but id not be unduly concerned .. dont cam if you dont want this sort of thing to happen

I have had to contact the police before over a couple from fab (although it hadn't got to the point of them showing my pics, just telling my boss at work)...the police were actually very understanding and said it was harassment. I could have persued charges but before going to that stage, the officer I went and spoke to offered to ring the couple in question and have a 'chat' to basically tell them to behave or risk charges. That has worked and the couple have left me alone since, but as it is logged as a report if anything further were to happen because of them they can use my previous statement.

Not sure how much they can do about the details being shared, but I would recommend getting in touch with them, even if just to put the frighteners on the idiot who is doing this to you

I have been on fab around 4 years now..

A friend on facebook ( I don't know him know him as such)..messaged me on facebook saying if I knew a person called ___cant mention names)I said no is never heard of him..

This guy then said to my friend..I have pics & a vid of her...

My friend informed me I said tell him. To send you them then if he has...

So this guy sent them my friend via Facebook chat...

They were of me around 3 years ago or more...

Hes obviously snapped them on his phone cam while watching me on fab cam...

Yes I'm not that naive to think that someone can not possibly do this,but it's wrong you come on a site where there's genuine people then there's the stupid idiotic obsessers who get a buzz out of it by showing them to others who don't & wouldn't want this exposure to the people who don't understand us swingers that's why it's a swingers site!...I've been to the police & they are going to get the intelligence people onto

It!...hopefully they can get an ip address ect from the account this guys on..

Yes it's tought me a lesson I won't be on here on cam again..from now on we are keeping it to the club's...I'm pretty pissed off in all honesty!..there are some nutty deranged people out there x

I don't use any other site to cam only on here..never have..so the guy who's took them are clearly off of here..I think I know the guy but its proving it...the police are aware now so hopefully I get the out come soon x

If you cam, it can be recorded. That knowledge is in the public domain. Because of that, everytime you cam, you give permission for your video stream to be recorded, simply by placing yourself for _iew. Having received these threats, it can also be said that you have knowledge that the footage can be used. Continuing to cam in the circles in which you seem to move is ultimately going to end in your publication. Legally, you can report to who you like, they won't be able to do much, if anything.

I'd only seen him a few times out & about but he reconnised me..

Straight away I deleated him off f book as he was a friend on there!..blocked him..

He doesn't know I know that he's contacted my friend.but anyone that can do this is not wired right..

Believe me..you wouldn't want to go through this...so it's ok for you to say "well it's her own fault"...you wouldn't be saying this if it was you!..that's so unfair.you of all people should know just how privert you want to keep this to this site only I'm sure....

In your OP you say you don't know who it is?

And now your saying you do know who it is!!

Perhaps just be careful who you include on your friends list on here and elsewhere.

Ok got to the bottom of this we think..some guy from marcussen drive California..has somehow got hold of my one of my friends on facebook..how the hell I don't know?..but we've ip the address from the guy sending the messages to my friend..that's shocking..

Or you have the IP of one of the servers or relays that he passed through. Very difficult to isolate a senders local IP, don't believe the scriptwriters on NCIS and CSI.
