What common time waster theme have you endured whilst being pro-active on the site and what steps have you taken to mitigate such.......

generally couples and single females are very picky/not really that interested in meeting. the "not my type" army is growing strong. just had a message from a couple quoting, do you fancy a meet sometime? pictures on my profile. i went on chatrooms and got asked for a cam i got blocked as soon as they have seen me. it is extremely frustrating, couple are getting very aggressive towards single men. same goes with girls. this is just my experience. perhaps this site is just out of my league?

We may not be meeting but if you've been here for months and you still haven't a picture it's just pointless even trying to arrange something. If you can't take 2 seconds to make the effort in uploading a photo, what are you going to be like if we ever met?

Pics, verifications etc all help but a simple telephone call to establish they are genuine or indeed if actually interesting in developing helps ans can break down barriers that otherwise may exist......in saying that lots of people strangely won't chat on the phone as means of an introductory hello

In context, yes too shy to talk on the phone lol....what would you be like meeting face to face, we all get nervous to a point hence a initial chat to help settle ones nerves and curiousity. That said each to their own but potentially another barrier to overcome.

My wife won't talk on the phone, much too shy.

We were let down last Sunday by a guy we had met before. No txt or anything to say he wasn't coming.We messaged him saying what he thought of him, then he was blocked.

We are not aggressive to single guys as long as they are polite. As for not being the wifes type. If she doesn't fancy them what is the point of it all.

I just see it as a laugh now tbh most are either too far away,too busy or complete time wasters. Id been chatting to a couple quite a bit he's bi curious. I thought I'll give it a go,but the normal poof (no not Dale Winton lol) they dissapear

Theres got to be some attraction for me. Hes the loser in the end,she looks great. Maybe he didnt have a good time and he'd got a better offer

I can see there maybe one or two peeps unable to maybe transfer a photo from their phone to their fab profile, but on the whole, that sounds like an excuse just to get a phone number

My rule is if there's no contact prior to the meet then I don't even bother getting ready. I tend to arrange meets a few days beforehand. That way I can filter out the eager beaver wankers. Once they go quiet a day before I know they're going to be a no show. If they ignore a 'still ok to meet' message and I know they've been online I pull the plug, explain that I'm not going to meet ignorant people and then block. Not had a no show for a long time using these rules.

No single guys get so many messages that they can miss one, especially if I can see they've been online for 20 mins plus.

With you there, I cannot bring myself to talk to a stranger on the phone, I find it excruciating. I think its the lack of visual clues aspect. The only one time I agreed the bloke turned out to be a complete nutter that stalked me for months and keeps starting new profiles to badger me!
