If you're just looking for swinging type socials, look in the Meets section. There's always socials going on all over the country.

Munches were originally a term used by the BDSM and fetish scene. Still is.

However, there was a time it was borrowed by the swinging scene. I remember several large munches throughout the year, typically in a venue closed to the public, where we could wear what we want, and talk about what we wanted without fear of offending.

Mainly now we just use socials as a term rather than munches.

And food wasn't ever included. Occasionally a small buffet, but the point was never to eat food together.
