A 40+ year old trying to get with girls around 18 years old? I personally find it a bit disgusting. I would think bad of my dad if I knew he was fucking someone so much younger than him. Partly because his sons are about that age!

as with everything it really depends on the people and the nature of their relationship.

I would have said once that it really didn't matter but now I think if one or the other partner is using their age to influence or manipulate the other in a bad way that its wrong.

This time last year I was 26 and I felt a bit guilty for liking a 19 year old. Was a once off, but still felt a bit guilty as i normally think of them as a teenager. So definitely won't go there in 20/30 years time

we used to get a lot of very young men and sometimes young couples approaching us too until we upped our lower age limit. For us it's a no go area and recent experience has reinforced that but if it's legal and consensual we wouldn't slate anyone else for doing it.

Maturity is a state of mind and does not necessarily come with age. Some of us are indeed mature adults, we are also open minded. Others who resort to name calling and sarcastic put downs when people express opposing views don't to my mind fall into that category.

The green arrow is a useful indicator and people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones

And as I said before this is a forum, just because you open a thread does not entitle you to dictate how people contribute to it.

I think if you are happy for your child to do it. Have a fling with someone 40 years older/younger than them and no relationship to come over it. Then you can't criticise. If you think of it as unthinkable for your child to do it. Then you should know it's wrong and it's hypocritical if you go out as do it.
