I have recently moved north from London and have noticed that there are less inter racial opportunities to meet. Yes my preference is white women, but fear that I may have underestimated location as a factor in meeting new people. Is it a location thing or am I just being paranoid?

defo down to location. London is a mixing pot of the world due to its size and importance. Where i am i really can only say we have a handful of now white residents. Its a shame but just a fact.

Funny enough in our area we only seem to have a handful of white ones! Yet we only ever played with a very few ethnic swingers. Shame really but its also just a fact

Am I getting hold of the wrong end of the stick?

My sister moved to Italy 20 years ago and only saw a couple of black people and has married an Italian. My daughter lives in Portsmouth Harbour hardly a melting pot and has a white boyfriend, a marine she met there.

The point is if your in an area surrounded by people you like erm shouldn't that work in your favour?!!

is it down to location... no..i don't think it is....

however in the grand scheme of things northampton isn't that far from london, or birmingham, so all it takes it a bit more effort.....

I think it is a "big city" centric attitude where no one wants to look outside there own little area, where if you live in smaller places (and to be honest northampton isn't really THAT small now) you may have to widen the net a bit.......

gGood point Fabio. However, don't you find it difficult to convince others that you are seriously willing to do the trtavelling?
