Does anyone know how to delete a contact off whatsapp please? I've deleted them from my address book but it won't delete from whatsapp. Says you can block but I want them gone completely. Thanks guys

I've deleted contacts before but can't remember how. haven't had to uninstall but thank you

Feeling a little daft. I blocked him and just went to try the help thingy to find he is not on list

On mine i went to conversation or said person, then hit more options then block.

If you've deleted them from your phone book you need to refresh your What'sApp before they disappear from that as well.

What you need to remember is that you might still be on their list so can still message you in which case you need to block them by going into settings.

You can actually block people from contacting you etc on whatsapp in the settings

And you can also block them on your phone if you remember there number!!

So block them on your phone and block them on whatsapp ....
