anyone find sex with an ex sonmuch better than when you were together as a couple? Currently fucking my ex as we both enjoy the no strings but things are so much more uninhibited asking each other for things we never did when married......if it was like this then doubt we would have split.....what's the story with that?

No - move on - smacks of desperation and any port in a storm. They're an ex for a reason, but hey, some people like security easier than looking elsewhere I suppose...

It can be great if your still friends but i wouldn't rush to go there again.

The only reason I might associate an ex with sex is if I did NOT want a hard-on LOL I’ve got two ex-wives and they are both like a broken leg… they make me limp!

I mean each to there own but I really cannot even imagine sex with ex. Fair play, I thought I was a perverted sexual deviant but some of you guys make me feel like an amateur! Sex with ex… that’s just plain weird!

Truth is most of us loved our ex some of the time and the sex was presumably good enough to keep you in the relationship, giving the fact that a relationship is far more than just sex.

Granted I dont like my ex, but he was good in bed, a great provider and we had a fabulous 10 years together.

He was/is a terrible father but you cant be everything to every one, maybe I wasn't the best I could have been to him and my children all of the time.

Just for the record I’m not anit-ex at all. My first ex and I are still good friends and always have been but sexual interest in her = zero for me. Ex-2 is a different animal altogether as in we are not friends, haven’t seen her or spoken to her for almost ten years as for sexual interest in her = zero.

I agree with you Evie, yes of course there WERE the things that attracted us to each other and YES there were some good times, and a lot of bad times too. I bare no grudge or malice with them whatsoever, we had a relationship, it didn’t work out – move on, and that is all there is to it.

But for me, I’ve never wanted to shag an ex, ex-wife, ex-girlfriend doesn’t matter, it just seems to me like either taking steps backward or at least a reluctance to move on.

dont think it does smack of desperation really - sometimes something familiar is what you need.

I did sleep with my ex on a couple of occasions until we decided it was time to move on completely (plus he found out i was having more luck than him on here lol)

I would never have sex with my ex as he is very much and ex for very clear reasons. It for me would be going backwards.

Also my sexual life altered massively when we split up and would never go back to a selfish lover like him. Now I know it take 2 to tango, now I realise exactly why our sex life wasnt that great but that revelation only came apparant to me after beginning swinging.

I now have a great sexual life and the fact that he doesnt know is great. I am very much not interested in knowing about his sex life or asking about his life in any form let alone having sex with him.

Alot of people have very valid reasons why they split up and often some more frightening reasons than others.

But personally for me, I dont go backwards at all, keeping walking forwards smiling and knowing lol

It was sex with an ex that got me into swinging in the first place.. after the relationship died we were fuck budies for ages. Another guy got involved and well, spiralled. Years later was the reason I introduced my wife to this.

An ex is an ex for good reason, but it doesn't mean the sex was bad though..
