I'm amazed with some of the things people are in to around here that CUNT is still so offensive to people. It's like "Oh you dropped the C bomb :o" I'm thinking "No I said cunt, end of, deal with it!" Itks like happily have a fist rammed up your CUNT but someone calls it a CUNT and it's the worst thing ever. I don't get why people have such an issue with it, now fanny that is a fucking vulgar disgusting word! Makes me feel sick actually. Much prefer CUNT any day.

I think it's different in different contexts as I think it's horrible when used to offend someone as it's a dirty offensive word haha but when I talk dirty calling it a pussy or anything sounds to me abit weak as we're all abit animalistic and that's why we should be a bit more aggressive and then cunt is acceptable in my eyes

I've said this before but I'll say it again. Ironically the word is derived from the old english word quaint. A rather nice word that Chaucer and Shakespeare both liked to use as an alternative to vagina.

Exactly. I have no problem with fanny which was in far more prevalent use when I was young, and find cunt really crude and vulgar. And insulting actually - I reserve it for use as the ultimate insult for a male, usually one who is being utterly moronic behind the wheel of a car!

To me it shows a lack of vocabulary if the word is used in everyday chat as does any swear words, but can see its uses for insulting someone, or in the bedroom if that what you like to be very effective. But for us its a turn off, but each to their own I say.

I wouldn't use that word and I would delete any message that referred to it. I'm not offended by it as such, people can call their genitals whatever word they like.

But the impression it gives me when people use it to describe their vagina, or use it in regular speech, is that they are common, a bit rough etc. That may totally not be the case but it is the overall impression it leaves me of that person.

I do understand why the other poster made the 'classy' comment and it was my sentiment also.

Oh and as an afterthought I am not into fishing, though I fail to see what that has got to do with anything

I don't agree. If you heard me over the phone or having a discussion and hadn't seen me you'd be shocked at how eloquent I am compared to how I look. I like the shock aspect people will talk to me from say the bank for instance and they'd be a bit bewildered when meeting me in person you can see it on their face. They expect Miss prim and proper and get my pierced mush in front of them. I enjoy it though, quite fun not being what people expect x

Don't have a problem with it though it isn't a word I would tend to use often. I think it is, as has been stated previously, a word with some power and when used by a woman in relation to her own sex can be quite arousing. Frequency of use dilutes the power for me as it has with Fuck which is now just part if everyday use and I find that a bit sad.
