Are we alone in thinking its a smidge rude of someone to send a message asking for our face pics but not including any in their message?

We always send face pics when "breaking the ice" seems ridiculous and extremely bad etiquette not to...

the dbl standards of some profiles really do amuse us, we have had the facepics 1 and also received a few friend requests without messages from profiles stating they don't accept requests without messages

it's not too bad - they want to see you before they reveal themselves - is it that awful? Z

The thing is you get all sorts on here, teh vast majority are just normal people like us (lol well not like us but normal amyway) but the odd one or two will try it on. Its easy enough to pass them by.

Our favourites are the ones who want to suprise their female partner in a hotel room....so we must keep it secret and turn up five minutes after him...so secret that we can't see what she looks like . They must think we came sailing down the Manchester ship canal on a tea tray.

A difficult one, I would send a face pic with emails to people that i approach. Not sure it is rude though. But it is unfair that I show a face pic and not have it reciprocated sometimes. Ideally there would be a way of both parties seeing face pics for fairness.

I think on sending out the initial message (the ice breaker) I personally would not put in any pictures !

If what you would say in the message would warrant a reply .

Then the reply to the reply if that should be worth replying to!

Shall indeed have a picture enclosed with the reply.....

And if the picture was not to your liking

(If I was mingin' or somethin' worse)

A simple no thank you ! Or a no reply!

Would suffice....!

we use the chatrooms and see faces on cam. Prevents the need for face pics, or photos generally.

we dont always attatch pics to a message, but will use the first message to guage if there is mutual interest before asking for pics and we normally attatch pics to any message that we send asking for pics

I always attach a face picture on my intial message my only gripe is that in some cases i do.not get a no thanks bugger off you ugly sod reply which i think.is a tad rude as it takes seconds to reply.

Rejection i can handle

ignorance i cannot

sorry rant over

happy swinging

If anyone emails asking 'do you have a face pic'? I just reply, I do, but do you?

I always think the person who initiates contact and asks should attach theirs first x

Agreed it's not a hanging offence but there are a few out there who take the biscuit! Example... We receive a friend request, so we reply explaining that we never accept friend requests from people we A. Have never actually met in person/played with or B. Spoken/chatted with or seen photos of... Then we get a msg asking if we can send photos. Wtf??

I guess we feel if someone is going to express an interest or try attract our attention then they should make the first move.

If the shoe was on the other foot we would be more than happy to try and seduce them with our mug shots

We always try to answer but the rules of the site clearly state that you do not have to reply. I think it's in FAQs. So it is not ignorance if you don't get a reply. It just means they're not interested.

I always used to reply but the number of abusive messages I got in return was horrible so now have used filters so only get mails from people I have winked or messaged, much better
