What is it with certain women on here who join in a blaze of glory saying there up for fun, then several hours later they delete their account. Or are they plants put in by fab just to torment we single guys?, lol

They are men!Just out of the pub or sad sacks who need to get a life!Set your filters to block all newbies!

I suspect the volume of messages scares people off. I think rhe defaults should all be set to not to receive messages so all new members are aware of filters and make a conscious decision of who they want to receive messages from.

I agree with that. When I first joined it was awful, the amount and type of messages you get.

Then I found the forums and learned about filters etc... The info is there but if you don't know what to look for it's difficult to find. I didn't realise filters existed at first.

Some men do it too. There are 2 regulars in our local updates who appear, then delete only to reappear a few days later. I think the record was 3 new profiles in one day!
