We love the wink system as it is a great way to break the ice or ignore if your not interested its a polite way to start a conversation

I like the wink system too, unfortunately many single women don't.

I've read on so many profiles winks and friends requests will be ignored (friends requests I understand).

Yet these same profiles usualy have a status often saying "too many messages can't reply have to mass delete if you are interested please message again".

Some people just seem to make things harder for themselves as I think winks are great way to show initial interest.

Don't mind receiving them if someone is a but shy or just wants to grab our attention, they're harmless. We send them to people who tickle our fancy as an icebreaker, usually followed up with a message.

I cleared my 'wink list' ten minutes ago. I've just had a look and there are 21 there now.

They mean diddly squat to me.

Winks are good but a message is better.

Friends request with no interaction does not get any attention.

But surely the wink option is on here for a reason. I always reply to someone who's winked at me. I just think it's a nice way to know that someone has viewed your profile and likes what they've seen.

Isn't a wink just the smile across the bar before you decide to go and talk?

Dunno why some profiles rage about it like they do.

We use it express interest. If someone smiles back we go talk.......
