I've never heard of alt girls having to be slim? Some people would class me as alternative and I'm a size 12 and 14-16 in dresses (even Alternative dresses) coz of my boobs. Some of my friends who are very alternative are much more curvier than me.

Nowhere! The lady of this couple is a size 18/20 and DEFINITELY fits the alternative bill. There is nothing saying alternative is skinny. We go to a lot of the Alt Events that Heresy and Heelz put on and you'll find that the average alt girl out there in the real world, rather than interweb porn land, is defintiely curvy!

As soon as most people on here see you have long hair, tats and listen to metal they run a mile.

I have been called alternative by others. Although I don't have any tats or piercings I do have a different way of dressing and my hair is short and shaved on one side. Used to go to a lot of metal and Screamo gigs but just as much into other genre's I'm not sure what makes you alternative I prefer to be classed as an individual.

As I've said, I was totally taken outa context. What I meant was, our preference is slim alt girls. Unsure why so many people seem to be taking the huff?

Cause you just came across as damn right rude and didn't state that "slim" was your preference just that it was how all alt girls were. Think about your wording next time if you wish people not to "Take the huff"

Hmm quite struggling to see that as rude in comparison to your current status:

I knew a lot of people on the straight edge scene in the early 90s and it was very much a lifestyle. But I aagree with you about just what iscan alt lifestyle. Like my earlier post said a faceful of piercings and tattoos is not alternative and mosr definitely not a lifestyle

Then again I forgot in this world it's fine for over weight people to be on the receiving end of such remarks yet the minute we refer to a skinny person as a "twig/stick insect" or whatever it causes uproar. I haven't seen much of that on here. If anything discussions seem to be balanced in favour of 'BBW' people and those that seek them.

I see the odd defensive remarks made when others dare to state they prefer people that are not overweight.
