Different people have mentioned a symbol to wear that would tel people in a pub or out and about that you are a likeminded swinger. I understand that a symbol may be used currently and just wounded if this is common knowledge amongst fellow fabbers. If so do people use this symbol.

Deviant City

I wear a chameleon badge. Its worked for me. Get asked if I visit Chams by people who recognise it, whilst to others, it just looks like an ordinary badge.

I think there used to be a symbol that people put in caravans but no idea what it was, other than that I don't think there is one.

A thumb ring worn by a woman was said to be a sign that you were bi, but now a lot of woman wear them for fashion. Ankle chains are suppose to be another sign, and you can get little male and female symbols to hang on them to say what your preference are.

Thumb rings are also used by some on the D/s scene.

"I'm going to start wearing pampas grass in my hair. "

Lol....Pampas grass in front garden was always a 70's symbol. The chameleon thing works if people are aware of the clubs so midlands and South Wales is best place for that.

How about FAB produce their own?

In a crisp poke on the A814

The chameleon is recognised world wide as a swingers symbol.....

Unless the jewellery a women is wearing clearly states "I AM A SWINGER" then I wouldnt take any notice as so many women wear anklets/thumb rings etc......

Think you will probably find the club named itself after the the world wide recognised symbol of swingers

If there was one I wouldn't wear or display it. At a club or on here you have some control over who you interact with, in daily life some people are less than discreet and I'd hate to be fending off some guy who thinks that women who swing will shag anyone while I was mulling over the doughnut selection in Starbucks. I know that most people would just give a friendly smile or a cheeky wink but then again imagine the Daily Mail getting hold of it

The other site we were on had a pin badge you could get. We can have FAB ones and if we don't want to say what they are, just say we're huge thunderbirds fans

D's Aunty and Uncle have a well established one in there front garden as do quite a lot of the houses on their estate. I think there was a lot of partying going on in the seventies when they moved there.

When I brought up the symbolism of the Pampas Grass They denied any knowledge of such goings on of course.

Lucky Buggers.

Id rather not be part of the nudge nudge wink wink oooh look they must be a swinger stuff

I do have a swing pin that someone gave me years ago,it went into the bottom of my bag and that was the last I saw of it

Funny if you had a sticker on your car, sold it,the new owners left it on there and wondered why they kept getting odd looks and other drivers waving and hooting at them

We've tried the swingpin (69 badge), chameleon bracelet and pendant, and black ring worn on the right hand. None of these have worked! Our casual encounters have all been down to them or us mentioning swinging during conversation - not directly but leading up to the subject by mentioning nudism first and so on.

Thumb rings and ankle bracelets are now normal fashion, so they're not any use these days.

A fish symbol on the car or as a lapel pin works well. Most people recognise it.

That's just silly talk, what if we got a new phone or moved, we'd look proper stupid then. That's why our mobile numbers are on a tee-shirt reassuring people they are welcome to call us. after all as swingers we constantly have the horn and happy to be approached at any time by random people!

Swingpin has been around for a good 5-10 years... other sites have introduced their own, which you acquire through attending a social.

No one should really know what any of these look like unless they have one... and in which case they should not tell you what they look like or it defeats to purpose of it being a 'secret' symbol.
