No one took the bait on the other thread so....when hubbie gets in a taxi driven by a woman he loves to get his dick out so she can see in her mirror. He is sure they usually love it. Is this a bad thing for him to do?

If I understand you correctly, you are saying your husband gets in the back of a taxi. The driver is a good looking woman. So he gets his dick out? ??

Um.. well.....assuming I was the driver and he was a total stranger. . I would actually be very scared and more likely to drive to the nearest police station!

But apparently when women were posting on another thread today that they showed their minge to male taxi drivers everyone posted how horny that was

I accept the hypocrisy and inequity of that..but in reality, rightly or wrongly, most guys are happy to see a woman flashing.

I think its about situation and context. The problem for me with the scenario you paint is that as the female driver alone in a taxi with a male stranger. ..I would be concerned about my personal safety.

Equally wrong either way IMO.

Do you think most guys are? I don't, I know a lot of men who would be offended by that, maybe not feel threatened but definitely don't appreciate having someone else's genitala thrust at them unrequested. And for the record he doesn't but wanted to see what people thought

I think it all depends on context, situation etc...

In a situation as described, I would find it scary.

In a club or party, less so....or not at all. I might even welcome it. It would depend upon many factors. ..reading the signs....flirtation beforehand etc....those little signals that indicate to the other that they would be interested.

But simply out of the blue like that....no not sexy. Just alarming.

Flashing someone randomly is wrong.

It's wrong for men or women.

The irony on here today though

What about a lone small male taxi driver with a hefty great fat woman in the back flashing at him, would he feel threatened?

Well....maybe most men dont then. I dont know. But I only go by the reactions of men who see a pretty girl in revealing clothing walking down the street especially if she is wearing a very short skirt. O dont know what those men would say if she were to flash them. Again...its about context and implied consent. If a woman is dressing provocatively and has an appreciative audience away from the risk of the eyes of others who are not party to the discreet interlude then between mutually consenting adults where he has a grin from ear to ear (a giveaway he is pretty happy to see more! )..then I dont see a problem

I think thats a million miles away from the scenario you present where a woman (or a man!) is a captured audience and subjected to a display they gave no indication of wishing to see. Then..I think thats offensive.

I honestly dont know! I think she would be very foolish to take the risk of what his reaction might be...unless he had clearly indicated his positive interest. Then...its up to them!

Thats my point. Random flashing with no consent is wrong on either side. But there are situations when there is a mutual appreciation and as long as there is no risk of exposure to others to are not consenting...then its up to the two adults concerned.

You have identified a huge double standard that exists and I will be extremely interested to see some of the opinions expressed here. Let me say now that unless there is express consent from the person who is being flashed at I thinks its wrong to do it.

In my experiences, women and men do not tend to look at these things in the same way. There are exceptions, as there will always be, but it seems like too risky an idea, based on the fact it could very well be unwelcome. If a woman exposes herself, there is a better chance it would be welcome or at least less terrifying if unwelcome, because of differences in how we think and how we like to be approached. Its certainly not universal, but good as a general rule. If a strange man exposes himself to a woman, there is real potential for terror. They could be insecure, or a rape victim, or just intimidated. Not that the same could not apply to a man, but the odds are much longer to say the least. Even if unwelcome, it is unlikely a vast majority of men are going to be terrified of a woman who exposes herself. While I realize it sounds like a double standard, the reality is that there are things that men and women, in general of course, do not view equally. Lots of genital pictures comes immediately to mind as an example. To each their own, but since you asked....seems like a bad idea.

I agree completely. Consent is what matters here.

So dressing provocatively is implied consent to sexual assault?

I have given my opinion for what it matters.

A woman may dress how she chooses...provocatively or not. That is NOT the issue. I sometimes dress provocatively if the mood takes me. But I dont randomly expose myself to any passer by!

But IF I did choose to expose myself to someone. ..then I would only do so if consent is explicit AND there was no risk of others seeing.

I still fail to see how you made the connection from my use of the phrase 'dressed provocatively' to indicate an implied consent to sexual assault?

For further clarification. ...my use of the word 'implied consent ' is regarding the observer...NOT how the woman is dressed! In other words, if I am dressed sexily, (which is my right to do so!), and the man is smiling and flirting with me...I might choose to tease him further ...away from prying eyes.. .if he is still interested. .I might go further etc.... hence 'implied consent.

Totally missed my point. Consent to any sexual act should never be implied, it should be a yes or a no and doing anything to anyone and then using the "she was dressed provocatively so I know she wanted it" defence is no defence. Implied consent is usually confined to the patient who rolls his sleeve up when asked for a blood sample etc. Anyway, I digress....who wants to see my minge??

Once again I didnt say that because she is dressed provocatively, she wanted it????? Thats ridiculous. Implied consent is nothing to do with what she is wearing. I was merely painting a scenario for you. Ok..if you prefer..I am dressed in my dowdy clothes..no make up and bed hair! The point is...there IS an implied consent in everything we do....its called flirting. We look at eachother. I smile. You smile back. We talk....we flirt....we laugh...our bodies move closer.. your hand touches mine etc..... STOP! Did you ask if you could touch my hand then? Of course not.....but my body language told you its ok to move a little closer....and so the art of seduction continues...Am I stripping off and spreading my legs at this point???? No of course not! Thats inappropriate because I dont yet know if you want to go to the next stage yet. So....we touch a little. We might kiss....etc.... if at any point either of us wanted to back away...we can! I dont usually ask a man outright. ...may I suck your cock! The smile on his face as he sees my head down there is usually enough positive indication that he would be delighted!

Actually. ...none of the above would really happen as I am not bisexual but you get my point! ! :

Wow, we were at a club a few weeks ago and she was flirting with a man, he was firting with her.

She gave me the questionning look and I gave her the nod. They went off upstairs.

A verbal yes or no wasn't needed

As adults we used body language and I definitely implied consent!!

This is where the bigger factor of location comes in. We were in a swingers club, with swingers.

Not with an innocent person, just doing there job

If I am smiling and moaning with pleasure and my sheets are soaking ....take it from me...you dont have to ASK if I am happy and if its ok to continue!
