You verify someone if you think they're genuine.

Just because you fall out doesn't mean they're no longer genuine.

Up to the OP why they've decided that someone they met turned out not to deserve the verification that was written. Maybe if we were allowed to edit them things would be better.

Which would just lead to spiteful deletes and edits when a person decides they do not want a repeat meet which hey is exactly what has happened here it seems.

Yes you say he only wanted to see you because he wanted his first veri, but isn't that why everyone is on here? To have fun?

I must admit that if I was told I was met just to get a verification I would be a little bit miffed too, but I probably would just delete and move on. Anyway, the guys got his tick now whether the veri is there or not so he's succeeded.

Reading all your posts has put it all into perpective. So glad I posted what I posted. I just feel that he could've told me he could not verify me before I actually went ahead and verified him. But silly me - dunno why I cared. I won't from now on and will simply block the culprit in future. All in all it's almost a non-issue but glad u responded so positively.

not everyone veris, though. I've had a couple that didn't, and a couple that deleted their profile after. i don't treat it as anobligation for others to veri me, and just smile when they do. i personally think maybe too much emphasis is put on them by some people. they're useful in some respects but have drawbacks as well.

If you've wrote a veri saying how nice a person is and they later turn out not be, why would you want them to keep your veri? Got fed up with every single meet asking me to do them a veri right after we met so now I just say will do it when I'm ready to

I seldom give verifications and certainly don't expect them. Men that contact me seldom have "sub" on their profiles as not to limit potential meets.

Could be "straight" men don't want future potential meets to know they've been balls deep in another man.

Some will tell you what you want to hear others will be open: bottom line we're all here to get what we want.

Enjoy your encounters for what they are.

I met someone a long time ago had a great meet everything was fine we both verified each other after then he started pushing for more and stalking me so although the meet was great his true colours showed after so I think this would be a great reason to be able to delete or edit a verification all I could do was block him I couldn't report him as no proof so just shows that there is a good reason for wanting to delete a verification that has been given (and yes I do realise that it is my fault for not being careful but everyone makes mistakes)

Aw this is where verification and review clash

The verification is of course correct however if op gave a gushing review and now discovers the person is not quite as described op may feel her review is misleading. The reason for the offending male not to give review makes no sense as his friends can see the ops review lol

"Let me explain what happened : I verified him after a Fabulous meet and later discovered he only came to me cos he wanted a first verification.

So does that mean you find it acceptable for a person to use someone else to get verified? It happened to me once. Met for a social drink and the guy came across as very polite, and was only too eager to meet up for some fun the next day. I verified him that night, and when it came to the next day, my message wasn't replied to, and he even had the nerve to display my verification while looking for another meet! How anyone can not understand, why I wouldn't want that verification to be removed is beyond me. He obvious wasn't the polite and genuine person, I thought I had met so why would I even want to give people that view, which is also deceiving everyone else on the site.

I had this before. Always from straight guys unsurprisingly. They never verify back and they hide yours, never have the veri summary displayed either.

So now I don't meet them unless they have something more to offer, like being able to accomodate. And I never verify first.

I'd tighten up your meet criteria. Don't let them treat you like a dirty secret, there's too much of that in our world. If you're going to let a guy stick his dick in you and have a good time it'd be nice to get some acknowledgement of the fact.

see the point is, it's a veri, not a character review

When you click it, it says you are verifing them as what they said they were, that they turned up.

No where does it ask for your opinion of their character and leaving a veri does not entitle you to sex

If a single male had posted that he would be hung drawn and quartered on here yet it's ok for women to use a veri as a hitting stick

I think its entirely up to the individual what they do after they've given a verification,I wouldn't want my name associated with someone that was who they appeared to be on a meet and then turned out to be a complete and utter cockhead afterwards, blocking them and removing the veri would be my only way of disassociating myself from them and taking away any account of a meet as I would feel as though I was deceiving the next person to meet them, its a function that was given because so many people requesed it and admin felt there was a genuine need for it

I don't think veries should be able to be changed \ deleted at all once they have been posted, it's stupid and goes against the whole reason for having them.

Even if that person left the site the very should still show but user no longer on site should show on the others list.... blocking a person should not have any baring on a previously posted verification.

I can see why she would want her veri removed, not because he didnt want to meet her again but because he sounded to me like a twat as she was good enough to meet him and leave him a veri when he couldnt be arsed to reply to her message or leave her a verification, all he had to do was say thanks for meeting me but your not really my type.

Seems to me there are a few women haters on here, does being a swinger mean you have to be as hard as nails.

Why LOL? Why shouldn't we be afforded the same courtesy as anyone who meets up for a shag on here?

Far too many straight men on here who haven't got the bollocks to admit liking TV's, and a lot more just use us because they can't be arsed to put in the effort to meet a real woman.

It isn't about having a fucking relationship is it ? It's about not being a cowardly bellend. I know some girls don't help themselves but jeezus, the attitude towards us is shocking.

And I wouldn't LOL too much, supposedly single straight men who can't accomodate, dont display veris or the summary and say they need discretion are the prime candidates for wanting to fuck girlboy arse instead of having a lonely wank.

there is some different things going on in this thread... a lot of it is really petty...

the whole "i want to take my veri back because they wont veri me" is really playground... sorry, but it is!!!

the point of a veri for me is two things... they turned up, they are who they said they were!

Its easy to misjudge people on here.

put it down to experience and why worry about blocking someone you dont think much of, they dont mean anything to you and you dont owe them anything.

people block others because they dont like something they said on the forums all the time so what difference does it make. Some people on here seem to think that you should be grateful for someone wanting to fuck you.

"You verify someone if you think they're genuine.

Just because you fall out doesn't mean they're no longer genuine.

Act like an adult and not like a spoilt kid"

bit harsh that they only asked and they might have had a bad experience with that person so they are no longer someone you would want anyone else to meet.

Yes you would feel like a bit of an idiot saying how nice they were if they werent, it would be a lie.

"If you've wrote a veri saying how nice a person is and they later turn out not be, why would you want them to keep your veri? Got fed up with every single meet asking me to do them a veri right after we met so now I just say will do it when I'm ready to"

I've met & verified before only for them to turn nasty on me. It happened to me once when a girl got jealous of me meeting others.

"The guy turned up was what he said was polite and nice just didn't want to meet again why does that change anything"

Ou thoughts exactly, we verified a guy recently, he chose not to meet us again or verify us but we verified him being genuine and a polite guy, would not dream of deleting it

"there is some different things going on in this thread... a lot of it is really petty...

the whole "i want to take my veri back because they wont veri me" is really playground... sorry, but it is!!!

the point of a veri for me is two things... they turned up, they are who they said they were!

"

Then a couple of weeks down the line its actually turns out that they are not who they said they were, they are displaying sociopathic tendancies and being complete arses, thank goodness if that happens it can be remedied by me being allowed to at least remove my name from their profile

"Let me explain what happened : I verified him after a Fabulous meet and later discovered he only came to me cos he wanted a first verification.

Lots of people do that.

So does that mean you find it acceptable for a person to use someone else to get verified? It happened to me once. Met for a social drink and the guy came across as very polite, and was only too water to meet up for some fun the next day. I verified him that night, and when it came to the next day, my message wasn't replied to, and he even had the nerve to display my verification while looking for another meet! How anyone can not understand, why I wouldn't want that verification to be removed is beyond me. He obvious wasn't the polite and genuine person, I thought I had met so why would I even want to give people that view, which is also deceiving everyone else on the site.

see the point is, it's a veri, not a character review

When you click it, it says you are verifing them as what they said they we'r, that they turned up.

No where does it ask for your opinion of their character and leaving a veri does not entitle you to sex

If a single male had posted that he would be hung drawn and quartered on here yet it's ok for women to use a veri as a hitting stick

"

I can't believe how bitter people are being to the op, especially the ladies.

There's obviously, less of a chance that a single guy would feel used for a veri, if they where meeting a single lady or couple, as it's much easier for them to get a meet, therefore not feeling it right just to use someone for that purpose.

Why aren't verifications used to verify a person character, and just to say that person exists? I can tell if a person is real or not, if they are picture verified. I want to see what that persons character is like from what I read, and if the person you have verified turns out just to be using you, then there hardly honest, more a deceitful person, who obviously use people for there own benefit. They have know respect for the individual for doing it, so doubt they will have respect for me.

But my version of a nice guy might be different to yours. That is why verifications are no good at being a reference for good character.

You cannot tell if someone is real by photos because people post fake or old photos. Even if you can with someone you don't know that they aren't a fanticist who gets off on leading up to a meet then doesn't show. That's what veris are for, to say they turned up.

The OP admitted that she had a great meet with said man so its not like she verified him even though she hated every minute of it. OK so he allegedly said he only met her to get verified, so what? I have only met men before because I needed a fuck, do you think they felt all hurt and used?

The only reason the OP wanted to remove her veri was because she was hurt and pissed off. She expected a veri in return and didn't get one so is sodding off, taking her ball and goal post jumper with her!

Nowhere does it state, The only purpose of a verification is to say - They turned up! If that was the case, they may as well be a tick box, in order just to say that. Would make far much better sense ......... don't you think?

A 'normal' human emotion, would be to feel 'pissed off', knowing you had been used. What is most surprising is the bitter attitude towards the op, or anyone who has felt the same, and the way how people can justify a person who would use someone like that, as being okay. { And that's putting it extremely mildly ] Receiving a verification back, is not the issue with the op, it's the reason why. Being used!!

Obviously, some people have no morals and respect. Not an ounce of decency, to even treat another human being with any kind of respect, just by people's own selfish choice, and self centred values.

What a nice world we all live in!
