When I first joined fab last year I used it to check out profiles etc..and arrange meets..

This time however I mainly check the forums..don't message much at all, or browse...

anyone else feel the forum is bit of a seperate side, i feel people are missing out by not having the banter on here...

I feel as you do that the forums are another facet of fab.

Like you I've tended to get into it a bit more over time.

It's nice to exchange comments and ideas, and most people are very curtious regardless of differing points of view. Jim

The forums and my fun on fab are totally separate entities,I enjoy reading and posting on the forums though, they can be very entertaining at times

The forums can be fun , but are just a sideline .

We would be a bit worried if they became the main reason for being on fab .

Primarily we are here to enjoy nsa sex with like minded folk , and wouldn't be on the site if we weren't

Forums are good for banter but I don't use them to find meets. I use a different profile for meets. Two very separate things for me.

I will say one thing which might sound odd.

I have a single profile on another site where there are no forums.

It feels a lot more friendly on the other site where we talk one on one (or two) and you communicate to a wider audience only through your profiles and not open forum.

I do love the forums and the banter, the debates and the laughter but at times the attitudes to sexuality surprise me on here and some of the mass-bullying threads are ugly (I even got pissed off with myself for allowing it to affect how I'd behave), that's what happens with open shop I guess.

Not asking anyone to agree, that's a very personal experience when comparing two sites.

That said I'll still keep coming back for more.

I think the people are the same everywhere on all sites etc.

The sheep effect plays a large part.... but also in one to one messages you don't get the input/ other opinions from other people so it's bound to be different.

Oh agree, im not saying the people are any different, people are people. Just that open fora does lead to certain behaviours. Hence the sites without them feel friendlier. Sorry if that was less then clear!

Before joining the forum, I'd have periods where I'd get annoyed and leave. The forum now keeps me here in those times of ermmmm annoyance .

Newcastle and Gateshead

i tend to use them for the same thing... to network...

i just use the forums to network and get to know people in a slightly different way than i would at clubs and socials.....

I'm quite new to fab and have only recently discovered the forum's

Well the banter has certainly cheered me up on those dark wet days.

The wit on here is hugely entertaining.
