Manners (or the lack of)

Do many people on here find a lack of politeness very often?

I don't think I am either God's gift or the back end of a bus, but having someone ask for photos, then just ignore and delete is surely not good manners.

Similarly receiving an email saying that you're not in their league judging by who you have met before - I find very arrogant and insulting both to me and anyone shown on profile.

Or am I just being to too touchy?

YES ! But Don't send pictures to people who ask before you establish some rapport and connection.

Ignore the arseholes and move on . It's the way of the world on here .

We were brought up to believe manners don't cost anything, but sadly not all feel the same way on that one.

Just think of it as a lucky escape, if they're that ignorant via a message I doubt you'd get on with them in person.

You quickly learn to grow a thick skin on sites like these.

It's not polite but who promised that? I do try and send a thanks but no thanks if when the pic arrives and their not my type, but sometimes but I can understand that not everybody has the time. I must admit to looking at the veris and now and again its made me wince to see the type of person that the bloke/couple has had rampant sex with, people I wouldn't touch with a bargepole and it has put me off. Also put off by hundreds of verifications too and the "been round the block a bit" conclusion it brings me to. Still no need to be rude about it

You need to let it run off you like the proverbial water off a ducks back. If you start to take any if this seriously you will surely go crazy. There are some very nice people on here

There are a lot of ignorant people on here. I can understand not answering unsolicited messages. But what really suprises me is the number who you chat to, exchange messages, everything seems great. Then they drop off the face of the earth, leave the site, or just ignore you.

"We changed our mind, sorry" aint' hard.

Never ceases to amaze me the rudeness but it's a sad fact. As a single you're probably going to get it a lot.

The comments are horrible, I'd be relieved not to have to meet them. They clearly thought they were special.

Grit your teeth, gird your loins, shoulders back and move on up.

Oh and wonderful bot.

Persoanlly I agree with you but not everyone feels comfortable saying that. Some people find it easier to just block or stop contact.

We try and take everything on here with a pinch of salt and let it wash over us. Otherwise we would drive ourselves mad and it would stop being fun. Yes some days it's easier than others....

To me manners and politeness are a big thing, but that's how I've been brought up.

Now in today's society it seem it's one of the standards that is very much lacking the little effort it takes to use them.

It's true you do need thick skin to be on here as we all come from different walks of life and we all react differently

As a single male I find most women on sites like this to varying degree are mostly ignorant.

On this particular site I have found a couple of women who have been generous to spend some time chatting and now we are 'cyber' friends. And the same with a couple of couples.

I like to be discrete, consider myself a 'professional' in my work life with the job I do, so I don't have a face pic as such on as my profile pic.

I find tho, that no matter how many hoops you jump thro, like thinking of a title for a message that isn't 'hi' etc, being articulate, picking up points in there profile, sending a face pic with your message. It will sit unread for days on end, or gets deleted unread.

God forbid you ask for a face pic, and even more so, I have found this out and does bring me a few laughs. Call them out as being obtuse, or ignorant, you soon enough get a response from that, and usuall blocked but what the hell, they were so far up their own backsides that they wouldn't have seen your message in the first place.

Only reason I stay on this site is for these forums, I don't even bother trying searches or messaging anyone, other than my 'friends' to see how they are.

Got better things to do. Like reading and writing stories lol

Some people can be very rude and I sometimes think some forget they are actually talking to a real person behind the computer. However, I'd rather have someone block early on or after a first message than waste time chatting then send a pic and block as that seems a little more rude especially if you seemingly got on whilst chatting. Just think of it as a lucky escape and move on

you find being ignored after sending pics to be mad manners, yet to be turned down after similar you find to be bad manners too????

so what are people supposed to do?

shag you because you went to the trouble of sending a pic?
