Meets but no verifications...

I'm in that boat. Have met people but have no verifications and I can't verify others as a nudge to sort of say "do it back" because of this, haha.

Not a good scenario.

How much weight do you give to verifications? I'm more than willing to cam and talk to people too but still left wanting despute having met a few!

Everybody starts with nil verifications so it shouldn't hold you back. Just ask your next meet to verify you. Dont worry too much about it, cos most people don't read them anymore than they read our profiles

Get yourself on cam in the chatrooms and ask someone to verify you,then you can verify the people who you have met.

If you've met people and got on well with them, just message and ask them if they'd verify you, they should be happy to do that in most cases.

We went a few weeks without any, then they came along thick and fast - keep smiling, stay positive and keep plugging away, you'll get some soon enough.

For the record, we do put some store by them for longer registered members, but we also meet newbies if they have good pics and reply to our messages pleasantly - we were newbies only a few weeks back, and know how it feels...so we will always verify anyone we meet and hope they reciprocate.

to be honest with you, if you have met a few people and none of them have verified you it does kind of make you wonder why noone has chosen to verify you lol

At the end of the day people dont have to verify you, ive met probably over a 50 guys off this site and i have, what 10/15 verification, im not sure i havnt counted them. some people just dont feel the need to, i suppose all you can do is mail someone you have met and ask them if they would

I love reading verifications! They give a small overview of that person. It's someone else's view and sometimes you can establish a pattern.

For instance, if a woman has many verifications each person may describe her as classy, a lady, wonderful conversation. This indicates that the woman is perhaps into men that stimulate her by conversation and a cup of coffee to begin with. Or you may get other verifications indicating that the woman is "ravenous in bed", "gives the best blow job" etc. This might indicate that she is a real goer and prefers not to converse unless it's in expletives - lol!

I think it's always nice to give people a chance but verifications also help us females to feel safe about the person. This is a very big site with lots of knobheads, some are just dying to try out their "new sadistic skills" which could be scary and harmful, so I think verifications are very helpful. If I don't see any after having been approached I tell the person that I will talk to them once they have a few verifications. Even then single ladies should always be vigilant.

I find verifications help in sorting out the fakes and the timewasters from the genuine people.

I suggest messaging those you have met, and asking them to verify you. Now as someone asked " why havent they verified you after you met them". Well I've verified people on here, and never got a verification back. Some people dont know that how to, or that they can verify someone back.

I also verified a woman, and the verification never showed up, had to try it two more times until it did.

When I see members here who have been on the site for nearly a year and dont even have a photo verification, that does make me suspect they are fakes or timewasters.

I do contact verified members more than I do unverified, its because I know they are some bit genuine at least.

But look try for a photo verification, contact those you have met, and just work from there.

But as someone else said, I've only two verifications on my profile, but I've met alot more people than that here and on numerous times. Once you get verified you dont really think about it much more after that.

I suppose that depends what you class as a time waster and whats genuine

I remember arranging to meet a guy, was about 6 months ago now, been talking to him on msn, spoke on phone, exchanged texts etc, he was well verified, all the women he had met had stated he was a nice guys etc, i was going to his house but dont drive so he agreed to pick me up at the train station, so i got the strain, went to the place he agreed to pick me up, and waited, about 5 mins after the time he was supposed to be there he text me saying

Very sorry but theres been a change in plan, im now meeting someone else so wont be coming to pick you up, but im free tomorrow if you want to re arrange

So genuine or time waster?

And if he is classed as genuine because he had good verifications and had meet several women before then verificaltions dont hold much weight really, because to me no matter how many womnen he had met and how nice they all stated he was, he wasted my time so in my eyes he was a time waster

I don't put any weight behind the process. You can't get anything from a verification. What someone is with one person os not what they will be with you. I'm the same...just cause I may be a dirty slut with one guy doesn't mean I can't be sensual and affectionate with another. Totally depends on mood and situation.

I did have one guy sulk like the biggest baby because I didn't write a verification....totally ruined the memory ad I felt like his sole reason for being there then was to collect his badge of honour....or lack of!

Only thing verifications have done for me is to analyze someone activity and to strengthen my resolve to practice safe sex....which is no bad thing!!!

Hasn't seemed to make much difference really, talking to the same amount of people as before but it's good that people know I'm genuine!

As we show people out and say goodbye, it usually goes "cheers, was good to meet you - will leave a comment on your account, if you want to do the same for us, cool!"

Seems a good way to do it.

And we read them on potentials as well, although most people just put gushing wonderful comments, it's interesting to see what kind of person your potential meet has been meeting or if they just want to stick it in anything that moves.

I always read them too and think it is a duty to post one after a meeting. It is annoying and kinda ignorant, I feel, if one does not. Having said that, one never reads a bad report. Maybe there should be a place on profiles to post your own account of meets. It might help others avoid badheads.

It pays to advertise!

I've known people like that, you have respect people's reasons and wishes.

Think of it this way, you might buy a car on someone's recommendation but you might equally decide to go out and buy one that YOU feel is right for you.

I find the ones that go into clinical detail quite disturbing, but I see nothing wrong with leaving a decent comment about a nice person.

But there are definitely people who leave verifications that they seem to be writing one handed while in the throws of "passion" and sound like something from Razzle.

I will meet none verified members, everyone has to start somewhere, and to be honest ive had no shows etc from verified people so verifications dont hold much weight with me tho u know some people will only meet verified members

I've been lucky enough to get a couple of verifications off people who know me, but some of those didn't come until some weeks after agreeing to do it. I suppose it's always a case of remembering to do it, getting round to doing it, having the right words for the occasion, etc, etc. A spot of patience is needed sometimes.

I think if you think Bradford to Beverly is a long way for a meet you could be disappointed. As a single male you can often travel 60 or 70 miles but its not a problem if they are genuine and worth meeting.

after the profile veris are your window to what sort of people they are and whether you match up.
