When I was taking a break I didn't reply to messages, just deleted without reading as it clearly stated, not meeting, don't ask.

However reading posts on the forums it seemed such a response was hurting the feelings of the little dears, and their confidences were being dented by the constant rejection, so the last message my response was - see you missed the first sentence about not meeting, and the second don't waste your time contacting me. Therefore why would I meet someone who wouldn't listen to what I say in a meet situation?!!

The response - there was no need to be rude, i was up myself...I KNEW I was right to ignore the eejets, less bother too!!!

Why not just go into the manage you're accout page and untick all the "looking for" options you have ticked and you wont show on search.

It seems that one of the biggest bumble bees buzzing around in people's bonnets and driving them bugshit is the amount of fools who don't read their profiles at all.

Personally I don't get this, so long as it's not 10 long paragraphs of rant and chew I love reading a person's profile as it tends to give a lovely insight into their mind, which on this site with the variety of sinful ideals and fantasies is a wonderful thing. Nothing like letting your imagination have a good wander...

Plus without it I could well end up coming into contact with the axe wielding penis separation expert that Blue Russian so eloquently described. Which I would rather not, given the choice...

Hide your profile so that peeps cannot contact you, simples!

Otherwise, expect to be contacted by peeps who do not read profile.

It is a fact of life on here that some peeps do not read profile. No point getting uptight about it, delete, block if required and move on instead.

I've just taken a look, and it's not as clear as you might think, not to the average profile reading eye.

If you don't want to hide your profile then there is only really one way to cut down messages, wont stop altogether bit cut them down a lot, that is to do similar to what we have done on our couple profile, you can find it easy enough by clicking onto my profile then our friends list, only ones there.

what we did is to take off all profile text and replace it as clear as possible with a statement of not playing right now, you can also copy and paste your profile into a file on your computer for when you want to get into this, simply copy and paste it back onto your profile.

Im with you as i love to read peoples profiles, see what they are like, what they are looking for, the verifications etc are bottom of my list

as i see it im under no obligation to answer mail if it doesnt meet what iv stated in my profile and if they cant accept that tough!!

as someone said before do you respond to junk mail when it comes through door?

i understand its hard for single guys, but sometimes readin a profile fully can go a long long way to savin rejection and hurt feelings x

I cut my profile down to bare minimum, not meeting and explained why, didn't work so then I blocked anyone from mailing me, still had problems as ppl sometimes have to mail me regarding non-swinging related things, so I guess I'll just have to accept that some can't read.
