I switched from Bi-curious to Straight - now contacted by 5x as many men???

A few weeks ago I switched my profile from Bi curious to straight, as I decided after another bad m2m experience, that I wasn't going to go down that road anymore.

Now my profile is set to "straight" there's a big upsurge in messages, winks, friend invites, profile views etc. from men.

Can anyone explain this?
