Why do some people think it is obligatory to get pissed or stoned before they are able to play ? at a recent house party one couple managed to neck two bottles of bubbly before proceedings started then half way through proceeded to have a heated domestic row , resulting in the early termination of what was a fantastic event !!! WHY

Titz Towers, North Notts

It's irritating. I've been to a few parties myself and there is always one person, or couple, who end up being deemed the 'knobhead/s of the party' by common consent.

I've seen one single girl get that d*unk she had to be sat next to a bowl, with everyone trying to avoid her like the plague.

I've also seen a couple who were so far up themselves, they'd come out the other end. Mr had decided that no one at the party was attractive enough to play with Mrs, which was entertaining as no one thought they were anything special....

It's called being selfish.

Just a lack of respect to the hosts and other guests.

Although our first meet involved nerves which took a lot of beer to overcome!

However respect to all parties must be the priority?

I agree. One drink to be socialble and calm nerves is fine. Too much is too much.

I think its because when boundaries are changed and things happen that you would usually not do, then the drink can take the blame its the get out of jail free card

I got d*unk at the first swinging club I went to. I was nervous but drank way too much. Didn't make a complete arse of myself though, just went home!

I can't believe nobody has mentioned it yet, it's usually the norm, if they want to get pissed and embarrass themselves it's their choice, personal preference blah blah

Some people need to have drink in order to play... Their insecurities I guess, we've seen people get out of control at clubs and caused horrible scenes and that was all because they were d*unk

That's ok in swingers clubs, pub etc. It's not ok when you are a guest in somebodies home.

Yeah been to parties and group meets when this has happened, seen people pass out from too much of both alcohol and taking substances, all been asked to leave then been dead apologetic later after the event.

All about knowing your limits in life, some people don't understand what's acceptable, you wouldn't do it infront of your family so don't in a swinging situation. its simple.

Once had a meet cancelled because I was 'only' a social drinker! There loss. If you need to get pisssed or stoned to play where's the fun in that?

I would not play with someone who was d*unk. How can someone who is d*unk give informed consent?

have had it at one of ours.

the woman of the couple got absolutely slaughtered and started begging people to fuck her, and crying because she couldnt get any.

then got very loud and very aggressive, to the point her hubby couldnt apologise enough and took her home.

bitch even took one of our wine glasses as V said it wasnt worth arguing with her to get it back lol

Same in normal life .... And normal social situations.. Why would it be any different in a swinging scenario?

i have noticed that a lot more drinking and other substances are getting quite common the scene now than say 10 years ago.

i guess the scene has changed with the younger generation turning it more into a party zone than a play one.

For me i have no problems with a few drinks to steady the nerves but it is increasingly common to see more than a few drinks.

few of us guys react well to mixing drink and sex and those that cant get it up as a result are more frequent than it used to be, especially among the younger ones.

i have come to the conclusion that the club scene is changing in this way, but i still wont play with anyone obviously pissed or stoned, they are too unpredictable.

if i want to get d*unk i will go to a pub/club or stay at home.

Call me old fashioned but sex is best when i can remember what i am doing. Nothing wrong with a bit of liquid courage, even getting a little merry to loose the inhibitions, but to the point of staggering and puking is a no go and getting more and more common at the clubs.
